Giving 5 stars as appears to work very well indeed! But you cannot have the phrase ‘Low Odour’ as a USP when I can smell this throughout the house now and it almost takes your breath away! Only sprayed in two corners, door closed, windows in that room open widely… it’s still choking our air downstairs, So maybe just take that misleading phrase out?!

As someone living in the UK, I recently tried out the Polar Damp & Stain Block Spray - Matt White, and it has been an absolute lifesaver for my home. I used it to tackle dampness and stains in various areas, and it truly delivered outstanding results. The thing I really liked about this spray is its ease of use. It comes in a convenient 500ml bottle, which was perfect for my needs. The spray nozzle provided a smooth and even application, making it effortless to cover the affected areas. Plus, the matt white finish seamlessly blended with the surrounding surfaces, giving them a refreshed look. However, there was one thing I wasn't particularly fond of. While the spray effectively blocked dampness and stains, it did have a slightly strong smell. Although it dissipated after a while, it would have been nicer if the scent was milder. Overall, I highly recommend the Polar Damp & Stain Block Spray for anyone dealing with dampness and stains in their homes. It's a fantastic solution that gets the job done efficiently. The convenience of the spray bottle and the seamless finish it provides make it worth the purchase. Just be prepared for a temporary strong smell during application.

Pleased with this product, used it a number of years ago with success and required it again. I had a very small localised damp spot in the corner of my room from an apparent unknown source. I purchased the “spray paint” type of applicator as opposed to the paint out of ease. Albeit, the smell from this is very very strong, no children or pets should be close, keep the windows open and plan the leave the room instantly, it’s incredibly strong. In addition, dependent upon your type of patch, the paint may be more ideal, as naturally the spray travels, arguably in my case the paint may have been more ideal as I had to mask off the area to prevent over application on other areas. However, all that technical aside, it works, I’ve attached a before and after. It goes on thick white, and is easily painted over. I also sprayed over filler I had put on in the area and it went over that fine and caused no issues. I managed to paint over again in two coats of Dulux Polished Pebble which is naturally light and still not shown through. Been on for about a year now, and no penetration, albeit there has been plaster cracking but that’s no discredit to the product as it’s a result of the damp area, I plan on to re fill the area again and should be fine after that. Would and will use again.

This coated my ceiling and blended in perfectly with my existing matt white emulsion cieling ', it did take about three passes to cover the mark's but as you can see it worked ' and went on easy '. Obviously it pays to keep about 30cm or 12" inches away from the target 🎯 area when spraying ' and try to keep a steady sweeping motion going as you spray the area '. You should make sure the surface is clean and dry before you start ' cos you want to create a surface that the paint will stick too ' but i found it went on beautifully '. I even had enough left over to help my neighbours son's room too '. Obviously you should clean any window 🪟 vent's and open them to create circulation to stop mould or damp in the first place ' and it's often helpful to open a window for half an hour a day to prevent any potential build up of mould etc in the first place '. I recommend keeping furniture a few inches away from walls to aid circulation ' and frequent use of a kitchen or bathroom extractor fan can make a massive difference '. You should always follow the manufacturer's instructions ' and i believe this was an excellent product ☺️ i didn't notice any smell either 😃

There is nothing low odour about these sprays! They are highly odorous and will stink your whole house out. Deffo not suitable for anyone with respiratory issues. I was in eating a proper mask as recommended but did not do much. My poor dog!! When spraying it doesn’t cover fully as thought I could use it as a primer as well. Overall, I would not buy the sprays again but I would get the paint.

Edit: Seller has provided a full refund for my order without any prompts as the product did not work. Great customer service. I've bought this product multiple times before and absolutely loved it. It sprays easily, and covered the walls, and seamless blended in with the paint. You couldn't spot where I used it. Smells a little, but open windows and it goes away quickly. But in my recent purchase of 2 bottles, I noticed the packaging has changed. The spray now leaves a dark mark on the walls and the area I spray on does not blend with my paint. It looks awful, and now I've to buy more paint to cover the patches. I dont know if I got a bad batch or if there's a change in formula, but it does not work anymore. Very disappointed!!

Happy with this - bought it on a whim as I didn't want to have to crack out rollers or anything. We'd had a leak from the floor above and noticed a water stain a while after, on a white ceiling with a white wall, handily. Figured this might be better than the stain even if the colour didn't match. Instructions say 2-3 coats, I think the first coat made all the difference, and rapidly decreasing returns after that. But covered the stain nicely - still a tiny hint of it if you look, might be another coat or two is needed, or just a proper paint job, but this made a big difference with minimal effort. Photos are before/after - matt white matched perfectly.

Used the Polar Damp & Stain Block Spray to cover a few small marks (damp and general mystery stains), and it’s worked well so far. It’s very easy to apply — quick spray, decent coverage, and no complicated prep beyond the obvious cleaning. It’s ideal for smaller spot areas rather than whole walls, and it blends in nicely once dry. It covers effectively without needing loads of layers, and doesn’t feel like you’re emptying the can just to deal with one patch. If you’ve got small stains from damp, mould, nicotine or similar and want a quick fix without breaking out full paint tins and rollers, this does the job. Five stars. Handy little problem-solver for targeted areas.

Das Zeug stinkt leider und man sollte es mit Mundschutz bedienen und nicht einatmen.ABER es wird super weiss und bleibt dann auch weiss.Ich bin trotz allem hochzufrieden, da das Endergebnis stimmt.Deckenecken in der Dusche behandelt.Top!

Das Spray wurde pünktlich und korrekt geliefert. Einfach in der Handhabung und Flecken waren direkt abgedeckt, allerdings vorher bitte die Stellen die bearbeitet werden sollen/wollen abdecken ringsherum. Nach der Verarbeitung gut lüften! Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
