Excellent example of a REAL watch. Nice visual of working parts along with a comfortable leather strap

Ok, so these watches are priced low or correctly for what you get. I purchased 5 different styles of gute watches based on reviews and knowing I can return them. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the feel and quality at first impression. They do not feel cheap. They are good looking and well put together. Assuming they continue to work as they have the past week. I winded them and set the to my cell phone clock and they all but one kept perfect time. You must wind or wear as it is a mechanical watch. The automatic movements are as smooth as any other Japanese auto watch Ive seen. Now, one did arrive missing a part and will be returned. I did give 5 stars because of the fit and finish and perfect time keeping of the other 4 working watches. Also, if you examine closely inside the crystal, you may see small specks of metal shavings or extremely small specks of lent. Remember, they are $25 watches. At any box clothing store these would sell for $60. Pleased with purchase. Would by again assuming they hold up.

It's not unusual to get random compliments on the look of this watch. Time-keeping is very good, gaining a minute or so over the course of several days, which is much better than the previous skeleton watch I had. Because of unclear details in the listing, I didn't know that it wouldn't have a men's band. Instead, the "unisex" design of the band detracts from the appearance a bit.

[Update] It worked well for about two weeks. Now when it is wound the weight in the watch will spin around and shake a lot and it will keep ticking for a couple hours but will no longer keep time. If you are looking for something for a costume this will do nicely but for actual use I would suggest avoiding it. [Original] I was genuinely surprised to see a mechanical watch for this price anywhere and figured I might as well give it a shot. I assumed it would show up and have some cheap stamped face and a battery powerd mechanism, but it's actually mechanical, no battery needed. I have had it for about a week and it has kept time really well, it is off by less than a minute if at all, which I say is pretty good. It also looks really nice and definitely doesn't look like it was only $30. It is a bit thick so if you have smaller wrists it may look a bit odd. The only real downsides to this watch are that the band that comes with it is terrible. It's very thick, uncomfortable and looks really cheap. The other issue is the glass face is not scratch resistant in any way, it will get chipped and damaged if you are not extremely careful. Overall it's a decent watch, especially for the price. If you don't mind an uncomfortable strap, or are willing to get a replacent this is worth it.
