Great for emergency
Came as described, looks (seems) to be very durable unlike another brand I returned. Food grade and safe to save drinking water. Just keep it clean, in a dark and cool place. I also add a teaspoon of plain chlorine. Will buy more soon. Perfect size, not too big & heavy. Stackable and space saving. I like & recommend them for preppers.

Excellent Customer Service!
I’ll start by saying I’m extremely happy with the product! It’s solid in its construction and they stack really well. 5 gallons is a good amount of water, but still able to be moved. 1 gallon of water is roughly 8 pounds.I had an issue where the jugs were not delivered with the caps and I thought it might be a problem to solve it. I apprehensively wrote them a message, but they responded in a quick and courteous manner. I literally received the jugs the very next day. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed, that I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Y’all!

Good way to store water
We use these in the chicken coop and for storing water. They stack well.

Remove serrated lip BEFORE closing the container to easily open later
Fortunately I have not needed to use these in an emergency, but I have cleaned, sanitized and stored my water in them. Note that they do not come with a spigot. Also note that the white lids are "tamper proof" and once you thread them on, they are very difficult to take off. If you don't want to buy the black wrench to open them and, like me, you plan on reusing these containers for years, you can pry the serrated lip off the white lid BEFORE you place it on the container. Then it's easy to open and close over and over.

It's a water container and it works
I mean, what do you say. Seems sturdy, just filled yesterday, 40 lbs when full, and stacks nicely. To the company - drill the hole in the breather. We shouldn't have to do that. It's not a big deal, but what the heck.

Very difficult to set up and use the spigot
I purchased these for the spigot. But you have to drill a hole in the cap to use the spigot (according to their instructions). But what drill would be wide enough open that hole? It also says you can cut out the hole, but the plastic is so hard, what household tool could I use to do this? And once you drill a hole to us the spigot, there is no way to go back to using a regular cap, so you wouldn't be able to stack the jugs because the spigot would get in the way. It also leaks.
