Very simple to fit, no rattling in the wind (unlike a hook), and the magnetic grip seems quite strong

I bought the pack with two of the magnetic door catches. What a buy! They are so effective and look so classy to go with it. Although screws and raw plugs are provided I chose to attach using super glue. Just make sure make sure which is the best position and then mark with a pencil. The magnets are powerful and the movement flexible enough so you do not have to be accurate to the millimetre. I used indoors so cannot comment on suitability for outdoors. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

good value for money for indoor use, but not as strong as anticipated (unlike what the reviews say). Tricky to line up exactly, and you do have to be very exact or doesnt work. But looks good and worth a punt at the price

I bought this to hold open a door that kept slamming shut in the wind.It's been attached for months and no sign of it coming off.

These work as you expect holding an open internal door against a wall. The magnetic force is firm and holds the door securely, but easily broken with a small tug on the door handle.The internal spring cushions the door when folded back against the magnetic door stop.Good quality construction and a nice surface finish - looks like a quality item when fitted and in use.

These seem super strong before they are fitted and then they are only just about strong enough... However, the value is excellent and they do look quite smart. I am using them outside as garden gate holders - which is not really what they are designed for (I'm expecting them to rust), but at £10 for two the value is outstanding and I decided I had little to lose. I would love a stainless steel (i.e. rust-proof) version that is also a bit stronger - and would gladly pay more for such a version if the manufacturer reads this!

Strong magnet not suitable for everyone

Does the job. They look good too. They are also compact which is what i was looking for, so when attached to a skirting board, the handle does not touch the wall. To help with install, i used some small double sided tape attached to each piece, this helps in lining up both parts while holding them in place to get the screws in. Installed in less than 5 minutes.
