I purchased these tools for making jewelry. I am so happy I bought this. They are in a neat case and the colors of the handles are nice. Also the tools are durable and the get the job done. I have not used all of the tools yet. I used all but 3 of the tools but from what I have used I like the results. The grip is great and it is easy to handle.

i like this these tools for making jewelry. i just wish that the regular pliers didn't have the plastic covers on the part that squeezes the jewelry because it is slippery and doesn't grip the piece you are trying to close. i know it is there so it helps protect the piece from scratches but a pain to use.

If you're getting started with jewelry making this is a decent kit to start with. It's somewhat sturdy, comes with one of every tool you'll need as you learn and the case is a nice way to store them together. The tools are not the best quality but they will get the job done while you are learning.If you are an experienced jewelry maker I would skip this set. The tools aren't durable enough for everyday use. The plastic grips on a few tools slid off the handle after two weeks of use. The curved pliers didn't completely close and were misaligned. The wire cutters were not sharp enough so there were limits on the thickness and neatness of wire that could be cut and crimper was flimsy and smaller than other crimpers I've used. It's not a set designed for heavy duty, daily use and one where you'll find it necessary to replace pieces that wear out in a short period of time.

This has a nice variety of tools that my previous set did not have. The handles are different sizes and match the need of the tools. I specifically picked this set because it had different colored handles so my daughter and I can ask each other to pass the tool based on color instead of "that twisty one." Seem substantial and should hold up well.
