Where Has This Been All My Life?!
I’ve had this mop/bucket duo for about a month now and I love it. It’s easy to use and I feel like my floors are much cleaner now than before with just using a regular mop/bucket. I love the fact that I don’t have to wring out a dirty mop or wait, what seems like forever, for one to dry. It’s truly a game changer! We have 3 dogs and a toddler and I find myself mopping far more often bc of the ease of use and efficiency. My cons thus far is that (1) I’ve already gone through one mop head. I feel like it should have lasted much longer than 1 month. (2) The more I’ve used the set, I’ve noticed that the mop head gets more difficult to insert into the “dry” section. It’s a very tight fit, obviously to wring the mop, but it gets more difficult as the mop head gets used more. Which, in turn, (I believe) results in quicker wear to the mop head. Definitely not a deal breaker but you’ll certainly be going through mop heads quickly. All-in-all, this set is fantastic and I highly recommend it! I hope you found this review helpful in your decision-making!

I repeat: JOY MOOP is the best!!!
I'm back to say, still the BEST MOP I've ever had. So much thought was put into this design. The top locks in place with it's own handle, separate from the bucket carry handle. It TELLS you which side is for what, and which way to put the mop in, AND it's designed so you can only put it in the correct way! The mop tells you which way to tip up for rinsing or hanging and has a strong magnet to keep it there. The pad has slots to keep it in place while rinsing and the ENTIRE thing velcros in place so it's not going anywhere while you mop. What really, really impressed me is I mopped a large, very dirty floor. I had to change for fresh water about three times. However, when I was done, this mop pad didn't even look dirty. True, it's a grey pad, but I washed in soapy water and that water didn't get very dirty. I think the squeegee effect the bucket has when rinsing the mop gets all that dirt out with the water- so much better than any squeeze or twist or wring mop. I've been mopping floors for over 50 years. Will I keep my steamer? Of course! But I'm also keeping my JOY MOOP. I may get a couple extra, in case this one goes 'missing' :D

Great mop, not so great pads
I absolutely love this mop way more than my o’cedar spin mop. BUT, there are some negatives I need to address and it’s disappointing. The mop handle and bucket are top notch. I purchased this mop in January. I clean my floors with hot water and cleaner. The bucket is staying strong! The handle is tall which I love because I am tall. Mopping is a breeze. But as of last month my pads started to tear on the slip in pockets for the mop head. It’s disappointing due to as you’re mopping they tear when you slip it in the wash section and then in the dry section. I love this mop to get me wrong but hate that I will now have to spend more money on replacing the pads within 2 months. I just finished my floors and my last one ripped so now when I put it in the wash and dry sections the pad comes off the mop. Ugh!! Nothing like having to touch a dirty pad while trying to finishing mopping before your shepherd decides to walk through leaving wet prints cause I’m taking longer time to mop minding the pads and not being able to put the mop head in the dry section because it is a tighter pace for the mop and the pad un-Velcros and comes off the head. This shouldn’t be happening.

mop
love this mop, it’s really easy to use. handle is simple when putting thru the bucket from soap water to dry and doesn’t a hold a lot of water when you insert mop into the dry insert. i get the floors done faster just how easy this mop is to use! and quality is 10/10

Easy to use! I love it.
One thing I dislike is mopping. Lol I've tried many different mops but this one is my favorite. Its easy to use, and great quality for the price.

Tried and tested updated review 09 04 2023
Update#2 These pads are so disappointing, I've now officially ordered 2 packs of pads to replace the huge packs i ordered originally. The pads after a few uses start to rip. Once it's a little ripped it's all downhill from there. Thankfully my mother in law sews and has an idea to thicken the material and thread and hopefully they will work again. Because at 20$ a pack of 4 im going through these more than toliet paper... the mop bucket and mop are still amazing no issues with either just these damn pads... 😮💨 Uoadte 1: ive had this mop for awhile now, i still l9ve it but theres a downside a big one. The mop pads have all torn at this point and ive been extra careful when putting them. When it frays a small bit it just gets caught when getrung water or drying and rips worse..... the stitching has failed.. so now I can't wring or wet them without it ripping worse abd getting stuck. I even bought the 3 pack and they are all ruined. The pads are a waste of money. I'm very careful with things as a rule of thumb and I mop twice weekly as i have ocd about cleanliness and they just don't last. .Make sure you put the pads on correctly or you will tear one using dry side. That's my own fault but a helpful tip. Now I put this mop thru the ringer I moved into a studio apartment with a man and men are pigs.. this place was disgusting and took alot of work. This mop made life so much more sanitary for me while cleaning. The separate water resivors the lock handle. I love it all. I even used it on the walls I got the large pack of pads and used a fresh one did the walls and doors. It's amazing and after washing and drying they still work perfect except the one I ripped by accident. 10 out of 10 recommend

Amazing design but has some very small problems...
I'm going to start by saying this mop is amazing. The price is decent, the size of the bucket is just right (too much mop water wastes and heavy to carry around, too little doesn't hold enough dirt in solution), the pedal-activated spinning centrifuge to drain the water is so simple it's genius, for the most part this mop is GOAT in my book. I've used a ton of other mops, including the cheap ten dollar kind where you have to twist the ratcheting handle to squeeze the water out, this beats all of them hands down. It does have a few small problems though and they should be easy for O'Cedar to fix. 1. The bucket has an imprint inside it to show you the quantity of water in liters, including the max fill line, this imprint was done so shallow they're nearly impossible to see. These should stick out more and ideally be painted white over the letters. If they were only sticking out more that would be fine, someone could easily use a paint marker to highlight these but currently we can't. 2. The distance between the outer perimeter of the centrifuge and the sides of the bucket is somewhat small, it's very easy to go past the centrifuge with the mop head and just drip mop water all over the sides, especially on top of the pedal, which then makes the pedal slippery. They could add a small wall around the perimeter of the centrifuge, maybe an inch high to solve this. 3. The mop head doesn't have enough strands and they're not balanced well enough. If you're on tacky surfaces or pushing your mop away from your body, it's very easy for the strands to get caught on the surface, and the edge of the mop head (the red triangle) makes contact with the surface, you can damage hardwood floors accidentally. The mop head needs to be more dense. 4. A clip or some kind of holder on the bucket to hold the mop when not in use would have been great as well. Other than these few problems, the mop has a lot of other things going well for it in addition to everything I already mentioned: 1. The ergonomics are great, there's a little handle under the pedal you can grasp to tilt the bucket to empty it out, the bucket holds well in the hand too. 2. The mop wand is decent. The collapsing design is great for storage after use, it's a little tough to twist to collapse but it works. Haven't noticed any weakness in it, it does creak but it's made of plastic, never snapped on me and doesn't seem like it ever will. 3. The pedal-activated wringing out is more accessible for older and disabled people because it requires lower leg strength, other mops require upper arm strength to wring out the mop. People usually have worse dexterity in their hands and arms than they do their legs since we walk on our legs and stand upright against gravity constantly, even people who don't regularly exercise will find this easier to use. 4. It makes mopping fun and convenient, which makes people mop more than they normally would, this is always a good thing. 5. When you're done, rinse the mop head out, let it dry, then stow your mop and whatever bottle of mopping solution in the bucket itself, to save space. 6. The gears and mechanism for the pedal-activated centrifuge are clearly visible and appear to be easily removable with a few screws. Yes they're plastic which sucks because the durability is low, but it also means they're probably cheap to replace if you strip or wear them out, you can probably even 3D print replacement gears if you have a 3D printer. All in all this is an excellent mop for everyone: yourself, for older or disabled people, kids on chore duty, great for people who live in small apartments, it's a total win in my book. Here are some tips: 1. When using the pedal, keep your foot in contact with the pedal at all times, do not push it down than raise your foot faster than the pedal comes up, without anything on top the pedal comes up too fast and grinds the plastic gears, not a good sound and they'll strip eventually. 2. I find mopping side to side (with the tip of the mop head pointing forward) works better than moving the mop forward or backward, but this is just good mopping technique in general. 3. Plan how you're going to mop: I like to decide where I'm going to stop mopping in my apartment, then work furthest from that area backwards to where I want to stop, this way I minimize walking on any freshly mopped surface. 4. If you're working on a tacky/sticky surface, the mop strands will grab more due to the increased friction, this will unbalance the mop head and you'll start to strike the surface with the plastic on the mop head, to allow the mop head to glide smoothly, increase the amount of mopping solution in the head (don't spin as much out) for these areas. 5. Let the mop head do the work! Don't push down on the mop head, let it glide over the surface and put your effort in moving the mop head side to side.

Efficient Cleaning Companion with Flawed Durability: OYMOOP Mop and Bucket
In my quest for a hassle-free and efficient floor cleaning solution, I stumbled upon the OYMOOP Mop and Bucket with Wringer Set, which promised to revolutionize my cleaning routine. At first glance, this system seemed like a dream come true, offering hands-free operation, multiple washable microfiber pads, and versatility for both wet and dry cleaning tasks. Let's start with the positives. The OYMOOP mop system truly delivers on its promise of convenience. The hands-free wringer mechanism made wringing out excess water from the mop a breeze, eliminating the need to wring it out manually and saving me precious time and effort. The inclusion of five washable microfiber pads ensured that I always had a fresh, clean pad ready for each cleaning session, reducing the need for constant replacements and saving me money in the long run. Furthermore, the versatility of this system impressed me. Whether tackling spills, dust, or stubborn stains, the OYMOOP mop and bucket handled them all with ease, leaving my floors sparkling clean and streak-free. The ability to use it for both wet and dry cleaning tasks added to its appeal, making it a versatile tool for maintaining various floor surfaces throughout my home. However, despite its many merits, I encountered a significant setback with the durability of the bucket. After several months of use, the plastic material of the bucket started showing signs of wear and tear, ultimately leading to a crack that rendered it unusable. This unexpected issue came as a disappointment, especially considering the initial investment I made in purchasing the entire mop set. As a result of the broken bucket, I now find myself in the position of having to purchase a whole new mop set again, which is not only an inconvenience but also an added expense that I hadn't anticipated. While the OYMOOP mop and bucket system excels in performance and convenience, its compromised durability raises concerns about its long-term reliability. In conclusion, the OYMOOP Mop and Bucket with Wringer Set offers an efficient and convenient solution for floor cleaning tasks, boasting features such as hands-free operation, washable microfiber pads, and versatile usage. However, the issue of durability, as evidenced by the bucket's premature breakage, casts a shadow over its overall value proposition. Potential buyers should weigh the system's benefits against the risk of encountering similar durability issues in the future.

The product is good, but not what is in the picture.
The delivered product is good, but does not match the description, it is from a different manufacturer.
