What wavelength does this uv light run at, because if not 253nm this product might be creating ozone which is really bad for asthma and dangerous?

Hi Grumpy Dad, thanks for reaching out. UV-C with the wavelength of 200-280nm can effectively destroy the DNA and RNA of bacteria, and effectively remove and kill the reserved 1% bacteria and the secondary pollutant produced by HEPA. Our units create an insignificant amount of ozone, almost none as it is certified, which means nothing or so little that it is fine for humans and proven safe. does this have a carbon filter as well as a hepa filter?

The previous response to this question is incorrect. This Medify MA 50 does indeed have a substantial carbon filter with carbon pellets to remove, smoke, odors and formaldehyde.
