A caution
I like the mirrors, but if I may add a caution - they are NOT adjustable. With the OEM mirrors, you can adjust the mirrors up / down, left or right, with your hand. To adjust these mirrors, you have to use a wrench to loosen the jam nut on the stem, adjust the mirror the way you want, and retighten the jam nut. Many people use locktite on their rear view mirror stems to avoid the mirrors vibrating loose. If you do, then any adjustment to the mirror - up, down, left, or right, will require breaking the locktite.Honda has a Much Better design on the back of the OEM mirrorsAnother caution - on a Honda trail 125, these mirrors stick out about 2" beyond the end of the handlebars. That makes for great visibility, much better than the OEM mirrors - I really like it. But it also means the mirrors will be the first thing to hit the ground, a tree, a pole, or whatever you happen to scrape against. With the mirrors being locked in place with no way to move, I suspect I will be breaking a mirror off in short order. As mentioned by someone else, the fitting the metal stem threads into at the back of the mirror is plastic (which is fine, just don't overtighten the jam nut). But I'm pretty certain the first time I scrape the mirror on a pole or a tree, that's where the mirror is going to break. So, if you ride on open roads with no obstacles, these will probably work very well.If you ride in areas where you might brush up against an obstacle, a tree, a pole, or the ground, these mirrors probably won't last past the first obstacle.

I love these mirrors
I love these mirrors! The mirrors these replaced were tiny, and probably stylish. When riding I could not care any less about being stylish, it's all about situational awareness for me! Cagers (me too, before I started riding) simply do not pay attention while driving, and penalties for killing a motorcyclist are not steep enough to make anyone care. These mirrors are big! I can see completely behind myself, which pays off immediately. Two days after installing these a cage failed to stop at a red light, that i was unfortunately already stopped at, I was able to watch that dummy come flying up the ramp and I easily drove up and out of the way while they skidded past me and into the intersection, narrowly missing crossing vehicle. The short version: These mirrors are big and awesome!!

Total view to the rear
I needed these for my 2007 Honda 919. I’m 71 years old and riding since I was a young boy. I’m larger than your normal 919 rider and block the stock mirrors. I know how important a full view to the rear is on a motorcycle or any vehicle for that matter. They look a bit out of place but not a problem for me. I also have a 97 Honda Valkyrie, 2012 Goldwing and a new Kawasaki 900RS. All have full view to the rear. Very important if you want to live a long life.

better view
can see much better to rear for a person with wide shoulders. Do not vibrate on my bike up to 35mph.

As good as OEM
I bought a lot of junk before I settled on these. Just the right height and look. Does not wobble. They might be plastic but compares to OEM. I had to bore out and helicoil out my Yamaha mirror mounts and they worked like a charm. Yamaha's fault for making a reverse thread on one side.

Help - Can't See Behind Me
I drive a 2000 Kawasaki ZRX1100. Someone knocked my bike over and broke my left mirror so I needed a replacement. I'd already been frustrated with my stock mirrors since I could not adjust them in a manner that didn't include viewing my forearm in 1/2 the mirror. Accordingly the reason I chose the Hoosier Long Stem mirrors. When I received them I noted their stems were considerably smaller in diameter than my stock mirrors, but also thought they were quite attractive. Upon installing them I was overjoyed the long stems placed the mirrors so I had full view of what was behind me. My initial drives brought me great satisfaction with the mirrors. However, when I drove on the freeway and hit speeds upward of 60 mph - especially approaching 70 - I noted the mirrors were vibrating so bad as to blur the image of whatever was behind me, including autos which were moving faster than me and thus were going to pass me. I literally could not tell for certain which lane they were going to pass me in (unless I turned my head backwards to look) because of the mirror distortion. I tightened the stem nuts in hopes that would alleviate the distortion - it did not. I concluded the distortion - which was very minimal on my stock mirrors - was due to the smaller diameter stems mainly but was magnified by the stem length. I sadly determined that for my application, i.e., for my Kawasaki, the mirrors presented a safety hazard and thus I requested and received authorization from Hoosier to return the mirrors for a full refund.Based on over 45 years of motorcycle riding I would say most motorcycles create enough vibration to possibly distort these mirrors at highway speeds. Thus the reason I only gave 3 stars (because I believe the distortion issue is possibly intrinsic to the mirrors due to the small stem diameter.NOTE: It cost more than $11.00 to send these mirrors back to Hoosier via USPS. Since I originally paid $0 for having the mirrors shipped to me, I was on the hook to pay to have them shipped back.
