A Travel Essential That Saved My Trip
My previous Waterpik lasted almost 10 years and traveled with me all over the world. Recently, while I was on a trip, it finally stopped holding a charge. Talk about bad timing!I had two options: wait until I got home and buy another one at Costco, or have one delivered directly to my hotel. I chose the second option, and it turned out to be a lifesaver.I’ve always trusted the Waterpik brand, so I knew exactly what I was getting. It arrived quickly, worked perfectly right out of the box, and saved the rest of my trip. The pressure is excellent, it’s compact enough for travel, and it’s easy to pack.If you travel frequently, I highly recommend bringing one of these with you. It has become an essential part of my travel routine, and after nearly a decade with my first one, I didn’t hesitate to buy another.

Great water flosser for everyday use
I’ve really been enjoying this Waterpik. It’s very easy to use and makes my teeth feel clean and fresh after every use. I especially like that it’s cordless, so there’s no cord getting in the way and I can use it easily. The water pressure is strong but comfortable, and the different settings are convenient. It has become a part of my daily routine, and overall I’m very happy with it. I wouldn’t change anything about the product.

Great product which saved me from major gum surgery, but.....It has one big flaw!
I purchased this advanced cordless model for two reasons:1. I didn't want a big bulky unit with tubes and wires cluttering my bathroom2. Needed a waterpik that could be used while travellingThis is a truly fantastic product which ultimately sorted out my gum disease and prevented major gum surgery. My periodontist was so amazed when I saw him and did a double take when he read in the file that I had last seen him 6 months previously! He hardly had any work to doI have been using this since the beginning of October 2017The first time I used it, it alternated between tickling my gums and feeling like there were needles attacking my mouth!I couldn't finish my whole mouth due to this and my gums were bleeding in a few placesI was unprepared for the PULSING water as I assumed it was just a steady stream of waterOne needs to persevere, as your mouth needs to get used to the waterpik sensations. It took about a week to get used to it and during this time my gums still bled.Over time, the bleeding got less and less and eventually stopped altogether as did my swollen gumsFirst ImpressionsIt was bit bulkier than it looks in the picturesI had to start on the LOW setting as the water pressure is quite strongAfter a month, I have moved to MEDIUM and am now on HIGHSome reviews have mentioned that they feel that the pressure is not strong enough, but it seems that the measure is compared to the plug in model which is understandably more powerfulHaving said that, I don't think that I personally could handle more pressure as on occasion, if one points the nozzle incorrectly on the gums, it still can feel like needles on the gums but this is very rare (The pressure of this portable model is approximately 75psi)The little flap where you fill the reservoir doesn't seem to be too tight when you first use it, but it works like a charm and water doesn't leak outThe buttons are well positioned and one doesn't push them by mistakeAt first, it was quite difficult to do the inside of my teeth, until I realised that the nozzle swivels, which made all the differenceIn terms of travelling, it is supplied with a grey plastic "blocker" which is inserted in place of the nozzle. This prevents residual water from leaking outIt is quite difficult to empty ALL the water out of it, so when travelling, ensure that it is put in a Ziploc bag as there will be a small amount of water that will leak outI use dental floss before using the waterpik. There is no special reason for this, other than I am used to using dental floss anyway and feel that this assists in removing plaque from the sides of the teethThe reservoir holds a fair amount of water (I suppose that there has to be a balance between size and capacity)I fill up between 3 or 4 times during a session which is very easy to doAlthough there are third party generic hard cases available, it would be nice if Waterpik had a custom hard case as an option which would be larger at one end and narrower at the other end so as not to cause unnecessary bulk in your suitcase.A hard case is a necessity as otherwise the buttons will be pressed and the likelihood of the unit being cracked or broken when you take it out of your suitcase is quite highPROSPortableEfficientWireless charging (more on that below)Does a fantastic job3 pressure levelsErgonomic fit to your handCONSNo proper hard caseUnintelligent battery - big issueUnable to empty it completely so a small amount of water leaks out when travellingBIG FLAW!!!!The reason for only four stars is that the battery is very old technology in that if you charge it for more than four hours, the battery overcharges and will no longer hold a charge which renders the Waterpik uselessOne would expect that with the technology available today, the battery shouldn't be a problem, but it isIt is mentioned in the user manual, but it is not highlighted and the consequences are not explainedWaterpik really need to address this issue as it has the potential to damage their reputationIt is worth paying a few dollars extra not to have this issueTo charge the unit, place the magnetic charger on the body near the bottom (the charger is magnetised and will automatically attach to the correct spot) and it starts charging, BUT you have to remember to remove the charger as soon as its charged (about four hours), which is not convenient at allCONCLUSIONDespite the battery/charging issue, I think that this is a fantastic product but would ONLY recommend it if you are willing to put up with and manage the charging of itIt would really be nice if Waterpik would comment and clarify the issue

Beyond clean teeth and gums, you need this!
I didn’t know I needed this Waterpik until I started using it and realized how clean my gums and teeth are BEFORE I start brushing. Very well made and easy to fill with water and clean as needed. Charging is quick and when full charged lasts well over a few weeks, I typically charge it weekly. It’s very easy to use, takes minimal time to use, and automatically stops when the water is empty. You get about 40-50 seconds of powerful but gentle water flossing. I think it would be a bit bulky to travel with but I didn’t buy it for that, what I do like is the smaller footprint on my counter or cabinet. The attachment options are great to test out to see what works the best for your teeth and gums, I have zero sensitivity using it.

Update from 2 stars back to 5 stars, even though it keeps breaking!
PRO1. It works! Two years ago my teeth mysteriously and suddenly began to sort of dissolve. I think it may have been medication related, but anyway I saw a top periodontist who not only did deep cleaning of the gums, but did a laser treatment under the teeth, deep into the gums. Then came several tooth implants and other procedures, all for the low, low price of $35,000! Needless to say, I got very serious about my teeth and gum care. My dentist recommended that I add water flossing to my daily cleaning routine and said he used a water pik himself.I had never used a water pik device because I thought they had to remain plugged into the wall and would take up a lot of space. It's pretty amazing how clean it gets teeth and gums, and with no pain and no bleeding and no difficulty getting floss in between teeth. Several months after most of the work had been done, I went in for a cleaning. The tech had practically nothing to do. She said my mouth was the best she'd seen all day. I could hardly believe it. (Note: I also floss and use those little brushes that go in between teeth.)2. Maintenance. Someone mentioned that their Waterpik was hard to keep clean. I just rinse mine with warm water right after using it and put both pieces in the dish rack to dry. No problem.3. It really holds a charge. I don't even remember charging the first one I got, but I never had to charge it again.CONS1. You really have to learn how to aim it. I routinely squirt myself in the eye and the cat gets out of the bathroom when she sees me take it out.2. Original review. They are not very sturdy. I just bought my 2nd one because my first one dropped on the floor and a bottom piece broke off, un-fixable.***Update, 7.27.25 Another broken one. This is ridiculous. The one I bought 3 months ago when I wrote this review just fell out of the dish drain and the tip broke off. I've tried to glue it back on with nail glue, but it fell off again. These things are great for cleaning teeth, but I can't afford to keep paying $77 for new ones when the parts break off. Mind you, this fell 3 feet unto a padded linoleum floor-- glassware falls from the same place and doesn't break. No matter how well they work for teeth, it's not worth it if they keep breaking.*** Update. 8.11.25 The final breakage--the little door to the water container fell off, just like the last one.Another new on will cost $86--that's $9 more than 16 days ago!***ANOTHER UPDATE, FROM 2 STARS BACK TO 5 STARS.8.16.26. Darn it, I don't care if it keeps breaking, it works! It gets particles out that nothing else does (electric toothbrush, floss, little between-teeth brushes) and actually leaves my teeth whiter after I use it.

Excellent for Travel
I purchased this January 2025. I've enjoyed it as it's easy to use, very effective, I can adjust the speeds. It could use a little larger water capacity because sometimes I have to refill it, but it's perfect size for travel. I knocked it into my sink once and the tip broke off. I was finally able to get it out using a pair of tweezers but be careful that you don't knock it over because you could break off the tip. Used to be I could go on a trip for two weeks without having to charge it. Now, 1 1/2 years later, I have to charge it every other day. Something to consider when purchasing a replacement. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge. I gave her only 3 stars because this is a name brand and I feel like it should last longer than it has.

Excellent water flosser, perfect for travel
I am extremely happy with this Waterpik! Being cordless makes it so convenient to use in the shower or take on trips. It has great water pressure, leaves my teeth feeling dentist-clean, and the battery life is fantastic. Highly recommended

Does the job
Pro: Good Power, does it's job. Keeps a decent charge.Con: USB Charger. Why? I don't know anyone with USB outlets in their bathroom so when you do have to charge it, you have to find something to plug into or spend extra money on an adapter that will allow you to use a standard outlet. The power button is very sensitive. If you finger gets anywhere near it, it will turn on and spray you in the face first thing in the morning or when you're just trying to go to bed. Not a great way to start or end the day so handle with care.

Muy completo, versátil y perfecto para viaja
Excelente irrigador bucal.
