Does the job…have used in both my births and seen (or felt!) the positive effects. Recommended though I do think that any body-safe oil would do much the same.

Use from 34 weeks pregnant
This Lansinoh pre birth preparation oil is used on the perineal area to prepare you for birth. Dispense 2-3 drops and then apply to the perineal area and gently massage a few times per week from 34 weeks pregnant. This oil is used to prevent tearing whilst giving birth. The 50ml bottle is plenty and spreads easily. There's no scent and doesn't stain clothing. Non greasy too. Very easy to use.

Bought to prevent tearing in labour. Great oil has no smell and is plenty as only use a small amount at a time.
