Amazingly Good!
I received this brush just the other day, and from the moment I pulled it out of the box I was blown away. The craftsmanship is superb; this thing looks like a piece of art. The product picture simply doesn't do this brush justice (seller: you should update it). The wood is very nice and has a great finish to it, and the bristles are very high quality and seem to be set in the brush very firmly. I will have to update this review later to note whether or not it loses bristles as some other reviewers have noted. I previously bought two different Diane 100% boar brushes, but they were much too soft and short to even penetrate inch-long hair. The Bass brush has very sturdy bristles that are about an inch long or so (don't have the brush on hand to measure), and they easily reach to my scalp when brushing. I also don't get any static buildup with this brush like I do with a cheap nylon-bristle brush that I paid the same price for. The bristles are also very easy on the scalp compared to artificial bristles, and they distribute oils much better. I would happily pay 2-3 times the price ($12) for such fine craftsmanship. I would certainly recommend buying this, and I may even buy another (just in case). If I ever buy a brush in the future, you can bet it's going to have the Bass name on it. I have been looking for a brush because I have gone "pooless" for a while now, and this brush is ideal for my needs. I just brush once a day and my scalp is flake-free and my hair is always soft and shiny. If you are experiencing bad results it may be because you regularly use shampoo and conditioner and you are stripping the oils that this brush is designed to distribute through your hair. Try using just water for a month, and if you aren't impressed at least you paid for this brush (possibly a few times over) by not buying shampoo.

This Brush is World-Class and Lasts Forever
I’m a male and have very fine hair. I’ve used this brush for going on 9 years now, and it’s world class. It detangles my hair without any issues and keeps me looking fresh. It helps add that volume look. If you want a brush that works great and lasts a long time, get this. You won’t regret it

If you have thin hair then this brush will be your both your best friend and greates treasure
I have long hair and usually is a pain to comb it because reagular hair combs or brushes will damge and take a few strands of hairs along on every stroke. I was getting a hair cut when my hair stylist recomended I use a brush with Boar bristles so as soon as i got home i searched for a nice brush and came upon this brush and went with it I could not have been happier with this product It gets my hair nice and shiny so smooth and flat that it looks as if I used gel or other hair products to get my hair to look sleek and shiny and I dont have any more loose hairs on my pillow when i wake up in the morning If you have thin hair this is a must to take care of your hair and use up your own natural body produced oils to repair and strengthen your hair to get that killer look you see on shampoo commercials you will love all the compliments you get about your hair after about a week of using this brush

Tamed the Lion's mane! I mean...my beard.
Telling you that my beard has coarse hair would be a euphemisme and since I decided to be bearding a yeard I needed a solid solution to tame that wild forest on my face. Well after trying tons of plastic brushes and comb and talking with my fellow bearded I decided to go for this brush. This brush is good, the bristle are FIRM. But that is just what I needed to groom my beard the way I wanted to. It helps applying the beard oil all the way to the skin and give a great density and a fresh appearance to the mane. Does not feel bad on the skin. The built seems great and looks like it'll last a while. Very happy with the purchase and definitely recommended it. UPDATE : Just removed 1 star because of a misleading information, this brush does NOT have 100% boar bristles, it's a mix between plastic bristles and boar bristle but "100% wild boar" is engraved on it and I think it's very miss leading and obviously done on purpose. I still like the brush but I also love clear identifiable informations.

So good I had to buy my own...
I bought this Bass boar-bristle brush for my boyfriend, who has thick and unruly hair; he's always complained he can't get it to stay put. He's been able to reduce the amount of gel he puts in his hair if he brushes it first with the Bass brush, but hasn't been able to do away with the gel entirely. The real surprise was how well the Bass brush worked on my own fine, flyaway locks! I borrowed the Bass brush after forgetting my own, and was amazed at how much more volume I saw in my hair. I've never been able to keep my hair from going flat and limp without lots of dry shampoo before. Now I can style my hair with less volume-building product, and wear it down without any product at all, as long as I gently re-brush it every couple hours. I would highly recommend a boar-bristle brush to anyone who's tried - and failed - to style very fine hair. A few notes: your hair will be staticky right after you brush it with a boar-bristle brush, but the static goes away quickly. And, like some other reviewers, I have noticed that my brush lost five to ten bristles over the course of its first few uses. But no more bristles have fallen out since then, so, for the comparatively low price I paid for my own Bass brush, I'm quite pleased with its sturdiness.
