What is allowable Medicare cost?  Is this available through a durable medical supply company if my doctor writes prescription?  Need forms, how get?

Hello, in our experience, if you have Medicare Part B, the Medicare coverage will be the typical 80%.  However, we have heard some reports that it may also vary based on Medicare usage.  We are in the process of being a DME supplier ourselves as there are currently no DME suppliers for this product just yet. What is the diameter of the hand crank shaft?  Could I buy an extra crank, cut off the straight part and attach it to a cordless drill to power raise?

Hi - that's actually a pretty ingenious way to operate the crank.  The crankshaft diameter is a little less than 1" in diameter.  However, the manufacturer doesn't recommend this, as improper power or torque from the drill may possibly damage the Raizer M making it unsafe.

All I know you are sent Medicare automatically after 24 months after applying for disability. You can choose Plan A or both A & B.
