My mom is older and needs something for quick cleanups in her carpeted apartment. Will this work?

This does work on carpet but it depends on the nap. I have very low indoor outdoor carpeting and it works fine on the carpet but there is nearly no nap at all on my carpet. I have an area rug that is a bit taller with the nap and it sucks up the cat hair on it. I realize I am late to the party on this but if you want to get it and are in the position to return it if it doesn't work I would grab it. I also have porcelain tile in the kitchen and bathroom like I did when I lived in Morocco and it works fine on that as well.

Does this vacuum up hair efficiently?

Thank you for your question. This unit will pick up some hair but not as efficiently as a unit with a motorized brush roll like the 95A, or the NEC122. Both of these unit can be found on Amazon. We hope this information proves helpful. If you have any further questions please contact us as 1-800-282-2886. Thank you for choosing Eureka.

Is nes215a the newer model vs nes210, or is color the only difference?

Hello, Amazon Customer. Thank you for your question about the Eureka NES215 and NES210 Blaze. The color is the only difference. Have a great day! eurekacustomercare@hartehanks.com (BBB A+ Accredited Business)
