2PCS Adjustable Watch Case Holder & Repair Tool Kit (2 Sizes, Silver)

Got these for doing mainly pocket watches and they work well, they seem like there well made and a good quality. The double thread keeps them parallel without twisting, which some brands can do.They have been a godsend to be honest.

I used the items to secure movements whilst working on them.Sadly I find the edges where they grip the movement isn’t all the well defined making them quite harsh as there’s no buffer between the jaws.The issue with the jaws could be fixed by making the jaws out of a softer metal or alloy such as copper or brass……more expensive but, definitely better.That all said, they do the job, easy to access both sides of the movement and they’re cheap.I’d certainly buy more if needed as I find the larger ones that wind in from the sides with round plastic guards to protect your movement a bit clumsy and they make it difficult to access both sides of the movement without undoing the whole thing and resetting the clamp and movement.

Very well made as good as branded ones .The smaller one is for lady watches which I don't forsee me using so the bay will have it 😉.1st impressions very good

The quality isn't awful but not great either. This is obviously problematic when you work on something you really don't want to move. Would not recommend for serious work.

I didn't expect the quality of a £30 Bergeon 4040 / 4039 movement holder when priced at £10 for two. However these are pretty grim, and poor value for the price paid.The larger one fell apart on first use, the smaller one wobbled. Neither held a watch movement well.I still can't justify a Bergeon for occasional use, so I spent a couple of hours realigning the holder and gluing the rather loose brass ferrules in place. Then I filed down the 'posts' that hold the watch movement and put heat shrink around them to help compensate for the poor poor grip. They hold a movement in place well now.In conclusion, these are not really fit for purpose unless you spend some time modifying them.
