Very very disappointed with these and feel stuck with them now. Ordered the size my daughter is in (growing into) and they are way too small. We already took all the tags off and had them ready for the first day of school and they turned out to be way too small. Also, the fabric is not sewed very well and looks as if coming apart and cheap. We buy Carters everything (usually directly) and these were a huge disappointment and waste / loss of money. Very unhappy.

These are light, flexible, and comfortable. Biggest win- the tongue is sewn in on one side so when your independent little puts on his own shoes, the tongue doesn’t get squished down into the toe box.

I bought these so my son could alternate his shoes a bit on school days (and preserve his existing, nicer pair for a few more months) so I wasn't terribly concerned about all the mentions of poor durability in other reviews. Still, it's surprising how fast these shoes are wearing down - after two weeks they look worse than some of his shoes that are six months old. So definitely heed the reviews that mention durability concerns. They also run slightly small, as others have mentioned. I'd say the 10 is more of a 9.5. Positives: good grip, good reviews from my son regarding comfort, and I appreciate that the branding is minimal.

Update: these shoes are now completely falling apart after less than 2 months of wear. I am disappointed and do not recommend. See full review below.These shoes are very cute and comfortable for my little guy. He has wide feet and they fit perfectly. He loves them. The issue I have is that after just one week of wear, they started falling apart. The rubber on the toe is pulling apart from the rest of the shoe. A run through the washer made this significantly worse. I won’t be purchasing these in future sizes.

Absolutely love these shoes for the price! My 2 year old and 4 year old go through shoes quickly due to dragging their feet to stop their balance bikes. These shoes are the cheapest I’ve found that hold up the longest. We have a pair of these shoes for play and a pair for every day wear that stay nice. They are extremely durable and my boys say they are the most comfortable shoe they have.

Nice light weight breathable shoe. Washes up easily in the sink. Seems to fit nicely. I like that the velcro has a nice length for how ever tight or loose you need the shoe. Some shoes don't give you enough velcro strap length for a wider foot. Kiddo seems happy to run around in these. Have bought 2 times now-size up for when he out grows the 1st pair cause I liked how lightweight they are.

My little guy (5) loves these shoes because they are comfortable. Unfortunately, all of the rubber across the front of the shoe wore away very quickly. After 2 months of almost daily wear (indoors at school), it is almost completely gone. Disappointing, as they are super comfortable.

Wears them everyday.

The soft soles in these shoes are great. We've had a number of these types of shoes. This style in particular though, which may be exclusive to Amazon, has one side of the "tongue" sewn on, and it's strange. Like, I understand why they did it -- to keep it from getting lost in the shoe -- but it actually makes it harder to wedge my sweetie's chubby foot in an otherwise perfect fitting shoe.

These are pretty poor quality. We bought for indoor shoes for daycare but even so they have broken down pretty quickly. Shoe shape is a bit weird too - it's really hard to tell the left from the right.

Purchased these for an Easter gift for my son, they don’t fit him yet but they do look comfy! Only negative comment I have is they were a little deformed when I received, hopefully when he gets to wear them they’ll be alright!

The shoes came and the bottom of the shoes looked like they have been worn. Not happy. I'm definitely retiring these
