Very handy to carry camera on hiking pack strap
I bought this so that I could keep my small camera within easy reach while hiking. The Pack Pocket straps on to my front back-pack (or day-pack) strap with velcro straps and stays put. My camera fits in easily and I can access it quickly. The Pack Pocket is made of thin, light-weight material so there isn't padding or protection for a camera from getting banged around should that be an issue for you, but it's perfect for what I need.

Extremely lightweight, crushable, but reasonably durable.
I got the vertical pocket. Excellent for my use case, but some caveats. At $16, it is the lowest priced pack pocket I've come across. It's very lightweight but the material does not tear easily. If you want a very thin, light, crushable pack pocket this is ideal. If you want something sturdier, with thicker material, padding, reinforced seams, then look to other brands. The zipper opening is not symmetrical, so it is best to attach the pocket to your left shoulder strap (assuming you want the longer part of the opening closer to the center of your body). The description says "waterproof" but being made of a lightweight nylon, it obviously is not. As others have mentioned, the velcro that closes the extra mesh pocket is so tight that you need two hands to pull it apart without damaging the surrounding nylon. Which means the pocket is basically unusable unless you modify it in some way.The pocket has two omnitape straps that can be wrapped horizontally around your backpack shoulder strap but no method to secure the pocket from sliding down the strap vertically. So I had to sew an extra loop on at the top for that. Also, omnitape is not as "sticky" as regular velcro. The pocket is a bit carelessly finished. When I turned it inside out, you could see where the excess mesh hadn't been trimmed. You can't choose the color: they'll send you a red or blue or green one but you won't know which until you receive it.

Well built but some iffy design choices
Picked this up to hold an iPhone 14 on a pack strap. The pouch is quite lightweight and well built (surprisingly so for the price), but the attachment points are a little fiddly (the straps seem a little long for me), and the exterior mesh pocket is kind of useless. The velcro is so grippy that it's difficult to get the pocket open when you're on the move.I also wish there was a little bit of rigidity to the back panel- when you take your phone out of the pouch the thing kind of collapses on itself.

Good quality
Velcro very strong and hard to open on first use. Great product.

Generally decent add on pouch to backpacks
Overall decent add on pouch. The inner zipper pouch fits a phone nicely but the outer Velcro one doesn’t. In fact, the Velcro pouch is unusable with one hand since the Velcro is too difficult to open, making it a lot less useful. I’m assuming durability is ok as I’ve not seen any wear in the few months of using it.

Very high quality, a bit small
I immediately liked this and used it but wish it was an inch bigger to hold the phone. Should have bought larger size.

Smaller than described!
Didn’t match descriptions given. I found it to be a bit too small. I’m not impressed with the seller either.

Nice add to my pack
My old ROKK pack did not come with strap pockets, and I desired some to keep key items close by during my treks, so I purchased 2. These are easy to attach to the straps and stay put when tightened. They hold an OK amount of gear - one has cell phone and a power bank; the other has my compass and headlamp. The little mesh front pocket is not too useful due to size (I keep sanitizer in one) and the velco closure is fairly hard to pull open with one hand. The pouch zips open & closed easily, though the string used as a zipper pull was weak so Ireplaced with a small keyring and zipper pull Very lightweight (just over 1 oz. each) so not a huge add to my base pack weight for the usefulness of this item.
