This story kept me interested all the way through, was a well written book. And loved the characters as well, definitely worth the read!

Good book will force you to read the next one
Good read the anticipation of how the male character handles his obsession over the female character keeps you reading. I like books that has an intense sexual chemistry between the characters but they don't actually get together with the classic hea. Plus the secrets held back between them gives it a great plot.

Great intro!
This is my first read from this author and it was good. The story and characters set an intriguing scene that leaves you needing more. Several key scenes keep this story rolling in the most unsuspecting way.

Great start
A woman running from her past,who is determined to make a life for herself,gets a invite for a decadent date with a mysterious man. Alex is determined to get the beautiful Harper at any cost.This was a great start to this Duet it was sexy ,fun and that ending ! Can’t wait to see where the story goes!

The book is shaky and drawn out.
The description caught my attention. But after just reading a few chapters I find the book boring. It also doesn't flow that well. When she first meets the dom she doesn't know his name, but she states it multiple times in her mind during their seen. It's also hard to understand the time-line of the flash backs and how/when everyone first met. It just seems like a lot of random parts were thrown together IMO.

Good enough story but badly written
The characters and story are pretty good, but the writing is poor. The writer mixes her tenses, has paragraph breaks in the middle of a sentence and there are holes in the plot. One of the most irritating things is the inconsistencies, such as, one minute Alex is striking Harper with a crop and the next second it is a flogger. If the author cannot be bothered to read through and correct these kinds of basic errors, it does not make me want to carry on reading. This is a shame as the book has potential .
