IT'S GREEK... WHAT CAN I SAY?
This is a personal opinion but, I consider Greek olive oil and Greek olives the best in the world. The Spanish produce Queen green olives, it's true, however, can they be compared with black Kalamata olives for flavour? Sicilian olive oil is the finest quality for dipping, I'll admit, but for all round flavour and consistent quality in cooking, salad dressing, and dipping, give me Greek - especially if it comes from Crete or the Peloponnese. Most Greek olive oil comes from family-run estates and mechanisation is kept to a minimum.I've used Crete Gold extra virgin olive oil in great quantity for years which I've purchased from specialist stores. I was delighted to discover that it is available on Amazon UK and at a slightly cheaper cost. With Amazon Prime's next-day delivery and free postage, it's a clear winner.TIP: Always keep oil in a dark, cool place and well stoppered. Decant small quantities from 5ltr cans into a stainless steel oil decanter (looks a bit like long-spouted coffee pot) which will keep the oil out of the light and make pouring very easy.My oil arrived very well packed the day following placing my order and I'm most impressed. I'll be ordering my next 5ltr can from Amazon again.

Bought this as a replacement for out of stock Amazon Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This was very average in taste and did not meet my standards, will not buy again.

Great quality and good value Olive Oil
Having shopped around for a replacement olive oil, I read the reviews of this one and have to agree with what others have said.A pleasant tasting oil that I find perfect for drizzling over salad. It has a warm, smooth taste.I’d certainly buy this brand again.
