My old motor lists A 10.5\4.7 while this motor lists less Amps, does this matter?

The picture in the ad is for the 1/2 hp 2 speed motor. If this is what you receive, send it back. Home Depot carries this same motor. The 3/4 hp motor pulls over 10 amps. I am an electrician of more that 40 years. Actual amperage a motor pulls dictates actual horse power. There is very little difference in efficiency between most brands of electric motors, weather single phase or 3 phase. I am tired of faults advertising for motor output.

What is the warranty for this motor?

You have a limited warrenty I got the extended one for 3 years for 29.00

Where is the motor frame ?

This motor is intended as a replacement motor for an evaporative cooler. When the old motor is removed, the mounting frame should be left in the cooler and the new motor mounted in the old frame. Also, the old shiv should be removed from the shaft of the old motor and installed on the new motor so that it is as close as possible to the same distance from the mounting trunnion on the shaft end.

3/4 hp is the same rpm( 1725 and 1140) as 1/2 hp. Why would 3/4 hp be better?

A bigger motor would in theory work less and last longer than a 1/2 hp motor. While maintaining the same rpm
