I am really happy with this thermostatic mixer tap.I had seen thermostatic mixer taps like this in a couple of posh hotels I’ve stayed in on holidays and they always seemed a bit off a luxury. But when it current, regular mixer tap needed replacing I began to see if this sort of tap were available. I looked on several local shops but actually couldn’t find a shop who stocked one. Then I thought about looking Amazon and found this one at a very reasonable price.I’m not that much of a handyman so we got it fitted by a plumber so, although I can’t personally testify to how easy it was to fit, he didn’t seem to have an problems with it. And it looks really sleek and swanky now in our bathroom!The left dial controls the flow of water, the right one is the thermostat. I liked this one because it actually had the graduated water temperature marked on it, rather than just blue to red. It also has a lock at 38°. You can have it run hotter than 38 but you have to consciously press in the button to release the lock before you can run it up higher, which is a brilliant safety precaution, especially if you are running a bath for children or vulnerable people. You can’t accidentally run a bath that will be at a scalding temperature - which I’ve known people to do. Although my own son is not 18, if I’d known about this sort of tap when he was little, I’d have got one then, just for the safety aspect. If you have little ones, I’d really recommend this to avoid any chance of scalding accidents in the bath.It has an outlet for the shower hose which is incredibly convenient, which you’ll understand if you have ever had to mess around with the cold tap and then the hot tap, fiddling back and forth trying to get it to just the right temperature! Here you just set the dial at 36, or whatever you prefer, turn the water in and within a few seconds you have the spray coming at the consistent temperature that you want.It’s very well made, very sturdy, a solid chunk metal. It looks really smart and posh and is a really reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

For the price, it is perfect and replaces our broken tap. It was one for one replacement, so no messing about under the bath. Water flow is great and temperature controller also works a treat.

The product became faulty 8 months in after the thermostatic valve is now incredibly inaccurate. It stated there is a 10 year guarantee and after seeing my review Morado replaced the unit immediatel. Very impressed.The quality of the tap looks and feels like a very high end product delivered in a nice box and also inside a material box for protection. All fittings, even including PTFE tape are included on the package. The difference from having two separate taps when you have kids to get the heat right to the ease and peace of mind of this unit by simply setting the temperature and turning on the tap is a real game changer! Great purchase.

Look very nice, shiny and robust. Different spray modes are good, as is the temperature control. The water pressure is also good and purchasing the whole set with the shower rail and rose makes it good value. It does the job and there are no leaks at the moment. The plumber managed to fit it well. The difficulty was not with the this unit, but getting access to the underneath the bath tap, and removing the old taps. Fingers crossed, it will last a while.

I tried to install this and I was successful despite the lack of instructions. It worked quite well though the pressure regulation was a bit weird.The big problem with it is that it leaks no matter how much tape you use or how much you tighten the hoses. I spent an entire afternoon trying to sort it and nothing. Worst of all, the included O rings are too small for a standard bath so there’ll be leaks behind it as well. I’m returning it. Not fit for purpose.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Good solid feel to the taps. Easy to fit as a replacement for an old bath mixer. Just two unions to uncover old tap and Fit new mixer. Easy to set and maintain water temperature.

The quality looks good. The only gripe I have, is the thread to connect the shower hose to the tap needs to be longer. I tried two hoses and both wouldn't tighten sufficiently and therefore water was spraying out at the joint from the tap to the hose. I added another washer inside the hose and this resolved the problem.
