Hollister 11404 New Image Convex CeraPlus Skin Barrier with Tape 2-3/4" - Box of 5

Was provided a sample of Hollister 11404 flange. Never used this style before. I'm active, doing a few hours of physical work daily. Other flanges such as 14604 (basic flat) and 14804 (a little better entry-level convex) were not holding up. As a result, I'd have "blow outs". Tried the CeraPlus convex 11404 and it is indeed better. About 15% more expensive than 14804, but worth it. Several issues cause gap that breaks seal leading to fluid "blow out". 1) Not having a flat, 20-something "six pack" stomach. 2) Doing physical work. 3) Having ostomy stoma located too close to belly button creating void / gap. In addition, I recommend using Hollister half-moon-shaped barrier extender 79402. Generally pleased with quality of Hollister products.

I have been having a lot of trouble with leakage of my colostomy. I have only had it for a month, and had been using the flat wafers. I tried these convex wafers and am getting more wear time before changing my appliance.

Matched what I needed. Reasonably priced.
