It’s beautiful however the pictures show the ballerina dancing with the top up. She will not fit of you prop the top of the piano up on the stand. You either have to keep the top open OR close the top completely and let her dance on the glass. Also, we are going to glue the ballerina on the magnet because the least movement and the tiny magnet falls out. And just for our own personal preference, we will be painting the bright red base of the ballerina either white or pink. Love the concept just a little flawed. For the money though, I would recommend it. It’s such a sweet little treasure.

The ballerina is very cool and spins really fast. The piano is made of plastic so the music is really off and sounds awful at times, kind of like nails on a chalkboard. Would have a better sound if it was wood. The Ballerina works on top or if the lid is fully open, not when it's propped up it's too big and doesn't fit.

My mom was an incredible pianist since she was 4 years old. Tragically, for the last many years she has been battling Alzheimer's. But she responds so positively to music! Gifted young pianists frequently come and play for her on her Steinway grand. She'll be turning 90 soon and I'm going to give her this piano music box. I think she will enjoy it from the spinning dancer to Beethoven's Fur Elise. It is mostly made of plastic so it's best for someone young or like my mom.

I love the little ballerina that dances on the top. My granddaughter has a child barbie doll (Kelly) that sits perfectly at it for gentle playing with it.
