Perfect for wavy, unruly, and thin/fine hair!!
I have fine, thinning hair, that has a lot of wave (2B/2C), so it’s prone to breakage, feeling too tight, pulling on the front of my hairline (I’m 37 and female pattern baldness runs in my family), etc whenever I wear regular hair ties. I saw an IG influencer using something similar and bought these.I’ve been using them for two days and I can’t say enough good things about them! They don’t pull on my hair. I have the comfort of not having having my hair up (I.e. no tugging) without the discomfort of having hair in my face all the time. I have hair almost to my butt, so hair in my face is a constant nightmare. However, having my hair up is like inviting a headache into my life. Clips cause less breakage and help some, and regular ties are out of the question. They always get hung up on every piece of my wayward hair and I always end up with several strands tangled around it. The new spiral ones are also prone to getting stuck. The kind that remind me of my grandmother’s church hose are the best (IYKYK), but they still usually have to be tightened too much for my head comfort. These are friggin magic. They literally have not gotten tangled once. And I actually tried. Put them in haphazardly, wound it into pieces of my hair that I knew were looking for a good fight, etc. Never tangled. Never lost any of my hair. Maybe one strand, but honestly I think that one was due for a trash can holiday anyway. I’ve put my long hair into a messy bun (did have to use 2 to tame it all, but we got it done!). The ponytail poorly pictured here (it is HARD to take a picture of just the hair tie area by yourself FYI). I have red hair, and the brown matches as well as any hair tie ever does; unless they’re the rare brand running around with auburn colors.Highly recommend if you have thin, fine, wavy, curly, or unruly hair. Also, if your hair tends to give you a headache. So far have not experienced any headache with these.

These are great if you have Locs!
So I have Locs and started experiencing thinning due to normal hair ties. After doing some YouTube research, I found out about hair ties like this and decided to try it. I’m military so I have to wear my hair up. These have been amazing and are way less tension than normal hair ties. They do take some getting used to. I recommend taking a regular hair tie THEN put this product on after and simply slide the regular hair tie off. I find it hard to just simply hook it around my hair so that method has worked great for me. It’s also a perfect match to my hair color. So if you have Locs, I highly highly recommend

Keeps your ponytail FAT and FLUFFY!
With regular elastic bands you have to squeeze your hair as you wrap it. With this system, you keep your pony tail intact and keep your hair looking thick!!

A pony tale
These are so cool. I love the idea as I have very long hair and hate when a pony holder gets stuck. My issue was my hair. I have THICK hair and I wasn't have to get it around twice just once and a half which wasn't enough to hold it be hooking it like tik tok said. I want to try longer ones for a second chance

Great for super long hair
This works really well for super long, fine hair. I hate ponytails because pulling my hair through hairtie loops takes forever and I always end up pulling out so much hair when I take it out. This makes it so much easier and with less ripping out and breaking of hair. It is easy to make it super tight and it stays in place so much better than a hairtie for me.

Not for 4c hair
These are not for thick, natural hair. They have no elasticity and are way too short.

Fewer headaches & no more hairs pulled out
When some friends picked up one of my hair bands one day, they had an amusing conversation of identifying it. No matter how many times I told them it's a ponytail holder, they ignored me and decided in the end that it was a miniature bungee cord! At least they won't be asking to borrow my ponytail holders! It takes a few tries to figure out how to fasten the hooks with one hand while holding your hair with the other hand, especially if you want the hooks hidden under your ponytail rather than on top, but once you get it down, you can do it quickly. What worked for me was to lay the band over the top of my ponytail, move the hand not holding my hair to the opposite side, under the ponytail, while a finger of the hand holding my hair kept the hook in place on top of my hair. With the under-ponytail hand, I pull one end of the band under the ponytail and around the top, where the hair-holding hand holds it in place. Then I move my under-ponytail hand to the other side and pull the hook the rest of the way around, position the hooks under my hair, and clip them. That probably all sounds confusing, but I think anybody who tries these will pretty quickly stumble upon a way to do it.These bands feel better to me than regular ponytail holders. Not only do they not pull out my hair when I remove them, but the size of the bands seems to work better with my hair thickness, so I get fewer ponytail-caused headaches (I'm not 100% ponytail-headache-free, but they've reduced a lot). I don't know if people of different hair thicknesses would have different results with headaches.

Perfect for curly hair!
I love, love, love these!!! I wish I'd had these my whole life! I have 2b wavy curls that can't be brushed at all after it dries without being a frizzy mess. I quit even attempting high ponytails years ago because the pulled back portion of hair laying on the scalp just looks weird without brushing and ends up too tight if you try to do the ponytail wet. Which sucked because high ponys are my favorite. These work SO good for high ponys on curly hair! You have so much control over the tautness of each curl clump as you slowly tighten, so you don't end up with lumpy areas on the scalp. Also it keeps from disturbing all your curl patterns not having to work them through a regular holder. RECOMMEND 100%!
