can this measuring cup be used in a regular oven and not just in the microwave?

Length 7.3 inches - Width 5.9 inches and Height is 3.9 inches -- Really???

The measurements are 6 1/8" tall x 3 3/4" in diameter (the inside measurement of the cup). The handle sticks out from the cup 2", so the width (diameter plus the handle) is 5 3/4". It's well made and the lettering does not come off in the dishwasher. (I bought one from another company and the lettering came off immediately.)

It says "be careful when using hot water." Can boiling water be poured into this? It is advertised up to 1040 degrees fahrenheit.

I boil water in mine in the microwave three or four times a day, and I've been doing it for months. No problems. But it's always a good idea to be careful when using boiling water - no mater what it's in!

4 cups equals 945.35 ml so how is this measuring cup accurate if it has 4 cups equal to 1000 ml?

The different measurements are on there for measuring different recipes and they are not interchangeable as you did an example. You only use the measures that your recipe calls for. If your recipe calls for cups, you use the cups if your recipe calls for milliliters or fluid ounces then you use those measurements. This is not interchangeable. Perhaps you misunderstood what this is for.

Very fragile feeling

It seems to be good quality and it was packaged well, it is very thin. Thin like glassware thin... I'd be afraid to really use it. Other than the fragility, it seems like a good product

Love it!

It’s glass but lightweight unlike most other glass jugs, which is one reason it’s taken me a while to swap over from plastic.I’m very pleased with it because its shape makes it stable and it has plenty of capacity. And I don’t run the risk of my protein shakes overflowing during the blending process!

The scaling isn't even close.

This is not a true to measure measuring cup. The scaling is so far off, you'd ruin anything you were trying to make. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS TO ANYONE. CHINA MESSED THIS UP SO BIG!!!!!!!!

Great for filling your coffee maker or hummingbird feeder.

Lots of kitchen chores create a mess. Using an old Pyrex measuring cup to fill my hummingbird feeder or my k-cup coffee maker always resulted in a wet mess on my counter, because the spout was wonky. This cup worked wonderfully, and pours a nice neat stream.
