Worked for our 3 step system
This was exactly what we needed to fix our steps that were acting up. They used to drop on their own a d it would skip when fully extended or retracted. But, as soon as I installed this, the steps worked perfectly. They do blow the 15 amp fuse regularly so maybe this motor draws higher amps??I'm just happy to finally have working steps!

No more step issues.
Thought we were going to have to replace the whole step unit. This was all that was wrong with them. This was Perfect fit for our 2009 Holiday Rambler. Steps kept running even when they were completely retracted. Ordered this motor which was an exact fit. Wiring was exactly the same. Lot cheaper than the whole step unit.π

Exact fit
Item is 379.00 from a Rv dealer and was the exact same part, only difference is the pigtail is shorter but otherwise fit perfectly.

Works great.
Even though this did not appear to be my issue with the step, I replaced because the other motor was 9 years old so I was doing a little preventive maintenance. Good fit. Works great.

Good RV replacement part
Mine didn't come with the screw/bolt installation items, but they're pretty standard nuts/bolts/washers. Installation was difficult (tedious) -- even for an RV mobile repairman. Some problems getting alignment right with original placement, and it took the guy almost an hour. Not for amateurs or non-mechs. However, worked the first time and ever since (6 months or so) with lots of use.
