Can you use this as a light kit for a ceiling fan

This assembly is a standard light you install flush to your ceiling. You should be able to remove the top mounting assembly and modify the connection to connect to a ceiling fan. There is no pull switch though. It would be a bigger modification if you wanted to control the light by hand. The light is probably 8" from top of bowl to bottom of faux antlers so watch your clearance.
