I actually discovered it after seeing a video on Instagram for pork belly cinnamon rolls, and it was one of the key ingredients. The combination of rich, smooth maple syrup with the subtle warmth and complexity of WhistlePig rye whiskey was just incredible. It elevates everything from pancakes and waffles to ice cream and even savory dishes. The flavor profile is perfectly balanced. My only wish? That the price point was a little lower so I could justify indulging in this liquid gold more often. It's definitely a splurge, but worth every penny. If they could bring the price down a bit, I'd be buying this more often.

The smoke flavor is incredible

This is the best syrup I've ever had! After using this I can't go back to any other syrup. I'm hooked. First they get me with their tasty whiskey, now the got me with their tasty syrup. What's next? Whatever it may be, I'm down for it! Bring it on!

I really enjoy whiskey. I've had a lot of bourbon aged whiskeys, but never purchased any from a higher end company. I decided to give it a try. Am I ever glad I did. When you open this up, it has an incredibly strong whiskey smell. It was mouth-watering. I took a small sip and was completely blown away. You get a forward caramel flavor, with a mid-tone of whiskey and then the aftertaste of the maple. 10 out of 10 I would buy this repeatedly. I'm excited to try it of course on pancakes, but also on vanilla and olive oil ice cream, in coffee, as the star flavor in some maple pecan cookies, in a glaze for some donuts, to pickle some hot peppers, and to turn it into a simple syrup for some refreshing mocktails.
