The media could not be loaded. Nowadays there’s so many options and choices to consider when wanting to make your own supplements; to save when possible by bulk buying and doing the work yourself. I am so thankful I found these Pure Caps- Gelatin Joined Capsules. They manufacture many sizes and do offer vegan friendly ones. I chose the beef gelatin version because I was more focused on just getting the quality and non-GMO USA capsules in a size 00 that would hold enough mushroom powder for our families use. Whether it’s lion’s mane, cordyceps, or red reishi mushroom powder, these gel caps allow us to take our daily supplements with ease. These gel caps have no taste in my opinion. They also hide the lobster/crab taste from the lion’s mane. For those who want the benefits from a supplement but don’t want to taste it these gel caps will do the job. They are easy to swallow even this larger capsule size. I am super happy with my purchase and received a bag full of capsules that have worked out great in my 24 slot capsule maker. I separate the tops and bottoms into the slots, fill with my mushroom powder and place together and press. I have had zero problems with them pressing together and that makes me really happy. No fuss no mess and a great value. Will definitely buy these from seller again.

I have used these gelatin capsules with good success - so don't let the "negative" reviews deter you (>80% satisfaction is pretty good, in my opinion!).I purchase bulk powders from Bulk Supplements and other sellers, which often times can be put into a shake, but sometimes the product is just too gritty and dense to be used in a shake (i.e., garcinia cambogia). Other reasons I create my own capsules is because it can be cheaper and I don't worry about all of the weird additives, although I don't usually get too bent out of shape about additives, unless it is some sort of sugar. Also, if you have a small scale, sometimes you can be shorted on the milligrams by some companies...it happens, I guess...but that doesn't mean I like it!I have not had any issues using these capsules. I actually like the feel of them right out of the bag - sounds weird, I know, but they are thick and easy to grasp. There are other capsules that are very thin and very slick, making them easy to bend and destroy before you even get the powder in! I have found that different powders work differently, and I found that the lighter the powder, the more capsules I lost once I compressed them using the Capsule Machine. Here are some examples:Cissus Quadrangularis: powder is dense but very humid/sticky, sticks to everything in spite of having 3 dessicant packages in the jar. I have not had any issues capping this powder. However, the longer the CQ is exposed to air, the more humid the powder becomes, which would make capping impossible (so I cap a maximum of 72 capsules at once). Zero capsules lost.Calcium Pyruvate: powder is granular and very dense, not humid; very dry and easy to cap. Zero capsules lost.HMB: powder is very light and almost fluffy; can begin to stick to fingers after the first set of caps are complete. I lost 3 capsules during the joining of 72 capsules. I don't like that this happened, but it did. Do I think they were defective capsules? Probably not (but I have seen ONE). I think it just depends on the powder being capped, and how meticulous I might need to be when joining the capsules.Overall, these are easy to use and are of good quality!I hope this review helps someone. :D

These tinted gel capsules from Purecaps USA work pretty well. I make natural plant-based health supplements weekly, so it's important for me to have reliable capsules like this. I love encapsulating various extracts and herbal powders by hand, while bingeing my favorite TV series. It's a task I enjoy doing because the reward has been unbelievable. I've treated myself for my chronic pain and chronic illnesses and helped treat my parents, and my supplement capsules are vital in that equation.The size of the capsules is medium large, but pretty easy to swallow with some fluids. Occasionally they get a stuck down in my esophagus somewhere, but it doesn't happen too often. The locking feature closes securely, keeping the powder safely packed inside. The caps don't break easily, although they can get bent out of shape or cracked. Every bag seems to have a few of those. The outside surface of the capsule can get very sticky if you handle it while capping certain types of powders, like a resin such as boswellia, or adaptogenic extracts like rhodiola and medicinal mushrooms. I sometimes wear rubber gloves to do the work, which helps but has its own downsides.In the photos are a bunch of the supplements I've put together using these capsules. As you can see, they work fine for a variety of powders, and they make a great product for people who want to improve their health and wellbeing. The capsules are not hard on the digestive system, and I haven't had any major problems with them.

I like to make my own supplement capsules up of various herbs and other supplements I take...and I do take a lot!Using a "00" capsule maker and these "00" gelatin capsules makes this possible! Helps me know I'm not getting a lot of unwanted and unnecessary fillers and other ingredients. They hold about 500 mg or so. Very useful. Happy with their product!

Super easy to put whatever you want in the capsules, they come apart really easy which I loved and easy to put together. Highly recommend these capsules.

Exactly what we needed. The only downside to these is the two halves stick together more than any others I've ever worked with so it's a little harder to get them open. But the trade off is that they are very secure once put together again.
