Three years in, I’m still loving this wallet! I probably researched minimalist wallets as much or more than any other purchase I ever made. There’s a lot to learn about them! Most of them are basically card holders and do not accommodate cash very well. A lot of them are not particularly well made and fall apart within a year or perhaps a bit longer. Some don’t fully close when filled to maximum card capacity. I wouldn’t have known any of these things if I hadn’t done my due diligence which mainly consisted of viewing every single YouTube video of minimalist wallet reviews. Some more than once. The thing I liked the most about the Secrid was that it is very cash friendly. You can actually store cash INSIDE the wallet very much like you’re used to doing with traditional wallets. Most of the others give you a strap or a clip to slide your currency under that is on the OUTSIDE of the wallet. How well it stays put when you take your wallet out of your pocket put it back in is anybody’s guess. Someone gave me a Ridge wallet and I gave it a go but never felt like my cash was well secured by either the clip or the elastic strap they give you. Plus, with the Ridge, your cash is showing every time you pull your wallet out. Secrid also thought about the potential problem of the wallet not fully closing or flapping open at an inoppurtune time by adding a sturdy snap closure that keeps it folded and closed just great. One of the things that impressed me about the YouTube videos was that several of the reviewers carry the Secrid personally! One of the reviews is by a man from Germany that has had his Secrid and been using it for 10 years! I carry the exact same wallet! Needless to say, I love this wallet! It does everything I want and need it to do but takes up a fraction of the space in my pocket of a traditional wallet.

My brother got this wallet when he visited Amsterdam and ever since then, I've been seeing how he has been using and loving it. I finally pulled the trigger and got one myself! It is a great minimalist wallet. I'm able to carry just the cards I need and even add cash too! Amazing buy! The small button closure is nice to have for security as I can make sure that the cash I have in it won't get lost/dropped out. The card slot pop-up of very high quality and I am able to fit 5 cards in it no issues. The additional sleeves on the inside of the wallet is great to put in cards that I don't need as often like my DL. Love it!

I've been using this wallet for about 3 weeks now, and I really love it! I was using a wallet, for close to 5 years, that had the ability to organize credit cards and produce cards with a push of a button, but finally I just had enough of the bulkiness of it and wanted to replace it. I carry my wallet in my front pocket, and to have a really bulky wallet in your front pocket not only looks bad, but is also can be pretty uncomfortable at times. I had been looking for a long time to find something similar in functionality, but not as large as my old wallet. Then I finally found it with the Secrid Mini Wallet. I new from the dimensions on the product page that this wallet would be smaller than my old one, but didn't realize how much smaller until I received it. Right off the bat I liked the size, and the first time I put it in my front pocket I knew it was pretty much perfect. The slim profile barely leaves any kind of outline through the pant's pocket. The leather used for the wallet itself is excellent, and I love the fact that this model has a small button closure so it won't just flip open if I awkwardly pull it from my pocket, or drop it. The card organizer itself is really high quality and I was able to fit 5 cards in it, 4 of them have raised alphanumeric characters, while one does not. You can fit 6 if all your cards do not have any raised characters. The mechanism, lever at the bottom of the wallet, used to produce the cards in a cascade affect is excellent and works very smoothly. I'm confident it will work flawlessly for a very long time, but it is also nice to know that Secrid offers a warranty on their wallets. With the additional sleeves on the inside of the wallet I'm able to carry another two cards, and the plastic holding area to keep cash has come in very handy. I don't carry cash often, but at least when I do I have this option to organize and store cash within this wallet. My old wallet did not really offer any type of cash storage option. All in all, I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it.. Also, the seller was excellent to deal with. Excellent job Secrid!

UPDATED REVIEW: It's been almost 3 years since I purchased this wallet. It remains the best wallet I've ever had. I traveled all over the country and overseas. Never had a problem. Regularly, people ask where they can get one as well. The card eject trigger still works flawlessly. The plastic sleeve designed to hold money is still fine. You can't put a lot of bills there, but it works. I've stretched out the leather pockets a bit with other cards, ie. insurance and membership cards, train passes, etc. If I needed another wallet, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to buy another one. UPDATED REVIEW: I've now had this for 11 months. It continues to be a great wallet. So much easier to use than traditional wallets. It's compact, requiring that I carefully choose what I want to carry, but holds everything I really need. Almost weekly, someone asks me about it. It's incredibly convenient. Appreciate it even more today than when I originally purchased it ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a great tool While it will hold 6 cards in the ejection case section, it won't do so if they are all cards that are embossed, like most credit cards. What I've found is that if I store 4 regular credit cards, a driver's license and one other non-embossed card, they will fit. However, I have to face the fronts of two embossed cards toward each other, with one top matched to the other bottom, so as to reduce the thickness. Otherwise, it's very difficult to fit the cards. The place for holding bills is small as well. Even though this seems as criticism, for me it works very well. I wanted something small and secure and this certainly fits the need, especially as a road warrior seeking every way to minimize as possible. I just think everyone should know what their getting for what they spend and know the advertising of 6 cards is a bit misleading.

I am a college student so I was attracted to the minimalist wallet design. I was stuck between this wallet, and the Ekster wallet and ended up purchasing this one. I do not regret my purchase at all, but there are a few things I feel that all buyers should know. Benefits: This wallet is very sleek and slim, I was surprised at its size when it arrived. The older, rustic leather is a beautiful finish and looks appealing. The card holder can hold 6 cards, 2 being embossed, but it is a tight fit and the lever needs to be broken in at first. You can fit ONE card in each of the inside pockets. I fit 3 bills in the money pocket comfortably with 6 in the card holder and the two cards on the inside pockets. The pop-up function works well and is addicting. It fans out the cards which makes grabbing one very easy. The RFID protection seems works like a charm. When trying to use my ID to get into a building I need to pop it out of the card holder instead of just holding my wallet up to the sensor. Negatives: After a week of use, i checked the card holder test by forcefully shaking the wallet to see if the cards will fall out. After 3 forceful shakes they seem to dislodge slightly and start to inch out. This is a concern to me because I do not want any of my most important cards to fall out. However, the more cards you have in there, the harder it is for them to slide out (I currently hold 5 with 2 embossed, but when I tried with a 6th card there was more force that was required). When trying to pack in many bills it will not close. I would set the limit around 4 as that is the most I've carried so far, but this is a minimalist wallet, so this should not be a huge factor with this wallet. I have heard that the leather gets marked and scratched up if you do not take care of it, but I have kept mine in separate pockets to avoid that so far. Overall, it is a fantastic wallet. It is small so that may be an issue if you constantly misplace things, but I consider myself to be well organized and do not lose things often. The performance works perfectly for my style as a college student, and if it weren't for the slight worry of my cards potentially falling out if forced a few times, I would have given it 5 stars. Secrid wallets are amazing. I have had many now over the past few years. Love this olive green color and its looks stylish while being small and easy to use. Holds a decent amount of cards and doesn't weigh too much nor is it too thick. Would highly recommend.

I would give this another star if I could. I've tried oh-so-many wallets over the years and have never been fully happy with any one of them. A friend recommended this the day after I spent $40 on a carbon fiber Ridge-knock off, but that I hadn't been aware of this wallet at the time. I ordered this and immediately put the other in the drawer. I am so happy with this wallet. The design, materials, function and craftsmanship are all outstanding. Clearly a lot of effort was put into this product and I love everything about it. The card ejection feels great and ejects your cards at stepped levels making it easy to grab one. The ejection mechanism is solid and well-built. The cash holder is a clever design. You can't fit a ton of bills in it, folded in half, but you can fit enough if you're not dealing with singles. I have ten bills in mine now and it "just" closes. Love the extra card slots in the non-protected holder, as I can get into my office with my RFID badge in one of those. The leather is excellent. I got the green natural version that has a little character. This wallet is luxurious and hi tech at the same time.

Its not often I get excited about a wallet but having had loads during my life, it was time to go upmarket and something different. This wallet, although its might be seen fairly expensive, is great. Its a small wallet (smaller than an iPhone in height, the same width and bit bigger in depth) that fits into any pocket and yet packs a great deal. The wallet has a sliding slot which fits 5 cards comfortably and 6 at a push. These cards are released by a pullback button that sticks out at the bottom - I put my less used cards into this slot just because I'm conscious I don't want to break it. Having said that, the wallet is sturdy so I dont think it will break any time soon. You can then open the wallet up, a button on the top keeps it closed shut and you have a further 2 card slots which allows for 2 cards to fit in easily. This means you can hold 9/10 cards easily in this wallet. Inside the wallet you also have a slit that opens up to keep notes in place, which is perfect for me and once you close the wallet you can have peace of mind that the cash will not fall out. Nice leather wallet from Secrid and I'd recommend it if you're after a wallet and willing to pay the price. Its definitely different to whats out there and friends have liked it too. Enjoy!
