Do not use the metal caps
At time of purchase description said could use for a variety of things including vinegar. Put vinegar in it, put the metal splash lid on it, a week later the vinegar has reacted with the metal and there is weird foamy stuff all over the metal part.It's fine with the glass stopper, but I wanted to use the splash tops specifically and I can't now because the metal finish is reactive and not food safe.
