I got this prop to replace the 3 blade pro that came on the nv46 I got after one of the blades broke off. The advantages of this prop are you will get higher top end speed. The disadvantages are with all the extra forward thrust you get very little reverse thrust compared to the 3 blade so if you get in a tight spot against a bank and want to back up quickly yeah that's not happening. The other thing I have a problem with is how cheaply made the plastic is I only used it twice in two weeks compared to the factory 3 blade that had banged off rocks stumps trees and other stuff for three years before it broke. This one I nicked one little tree limb and it spun the whole center out leaving me stranded and it bent the prop pin. Luckily I was able to flip the pin around bend it with some pliers and tighten the nut down jamming it in the broken prop enough to limp back to the dock.

Needed a spare prop for my Newport Vessel 40# electric. Like the fact that it comes with small wrench, washer, nut and shear pin.
