This is an awesome case for the price. Excellent value and it does exactly as it says...protection around the phone with a slim fit. I had an Otterbox which provides excellent protection but it's just too doggone bulky. Otterbox is tough and will take a licking and keep on ticking (ol' school reference!), but you have to sacrifice space and comfort. (Also, I got tired of opening the little tabs on the Otterbox to plug in ear pieces and the charger.) But the rooCase gives me style and protection in a slim profile. (I posted pics comparing it to my Otterbox.)HOWEVER...the feel around the corners and the back of the rooCase is a little rough. There are raised edges around the back and it's right where your fingers land when holding the phone at the bottom. I've attached pics to show what I mean. And I wish the edges were slightly a bit more rounded. It feels like they needed to use sandpaper and just smooth it out just a bit. And it could be just me and my sensitivity and preference for a smooth feel. Overall, it's definitely a 4 out of 5 for protection and it's lightweight. When I first pulled it out of the package I thought it would be too light, almost cheap. But it's just right and it doesn't have a cheap feel. I do wonder though if the back will get scratched over time.Anyway, for the price it's a great buy. I just need to get past the rough edges and the back.

Ordered this case for my husband. He seems very happy with it. I think that the red plastic part looks a little cheap compared to other cases, but that doesn't mean it won't be sturdy. He likes that it slides easily in and out of his pocket, but the downside is that there isn't any grippy surface so it slides off a dashboard or wherever. The durability and protection of this case have not been put to the test yet, but I will update my review when the inevitable occurs.

I've had my rooCase for several months, now, and I love it. I love how it retains my Samsung S6 slim look and feel. My case is black like my phone, and at first glance, it still looks like the original phone. But, more important is how it protects my phone. My phone has fallen from my hand several times now, on wooden, tiled and concrete floors. The rooCase has weighted reinforced corners, and when my phone has fallen on a corner, no problem, my phone is intact. When it's fallen on either the front or back of the case, no worries. No damage. While I definitely would rather never drop my phone, when I occasionally do, now, I no longer think, OH No!!!! I've dropped my phone, and it must be broken. Did I say I love my rooCase? I also like how my rooCasey thickness on the back extends just beyond the camera to protect it from wear and tear. Best case ever.

Fits nicely and all the buttons and holes align perfectly when the case is on my galaxy S6. Looks great and I appreciate the very slim design. The only reason I didn't give five stars is I wish It had a little more rubbery feel to its grip. I wouldn't call it slippery but a little more tacky feel would be nice. Overall, I think it is an excellent value!!

I had a rooCASE on my iPhone 4S, so I wanted a rooCASE for my Samsung Galaxy S6. This product fit the bill. It adds a bit of texture to aid grip without adding a lot of bulk. A raised edge on the sides make holding in the hand easier. The reinforced corners will hopefully help survivability. Raised edge on the front and around the camera in back should help protect the screen when placing the phone down on a table or other flat surface.I have not had any problems with the buttons or headphone or USB plug access. It works with my Qi-compliant wireless charging pad.I haven't dropped my phone yet -- knock on wood -- but I am hoping it will be sufficient to protect it from short falls, like falling out of my pocket when standing up or when getting out of the car.

The color is much, much duller than what's pictured (I was hoping for a more cerulean or vibrant blue and the case itself is a bit darker/faded). It fits the iPhone 6S perfectly and the phone slipped right in. The only other complaint I have about it is that now I can't fit my auxiliary cord into the bottom of the phone. I had to buy a slimmer aux cord because the case is too narrow to fit my current aux cord.

Perfect case for those who seek protection without the bulk. I have had too many bad experiences with cases that look pretty on the outside and cause damage to the phone itself by leaving permanent impressions or marks. I wanted more protection for my phone than what I could get from all the pretty cases. All of the cases were soo bulky and manly. I found this case and after reading the reviews I was sold. I have had this case for over 4 months now and my phone is in perfect condition. I have dropped my phone several times and the case has proved to offer very good protection. I highly recommend this case.

The case is plain so as far as appearance it is nothing special. It has a shiny rubber finish that I'm actually not too fond of. As far as protection it is very functional. The material absorbs impacts very well and it even has a lip on the front that prevents it from landing on the screen.

When you receive this case, I'm pretty sure you'll love the packaging. It just screams quality. Hard cardboard, with a viewing window, a hanging loop, metallic printing, and opening up like a book with a magnetic fastening, this puts the cases I've received in plastic bags to shame. It almost seems a shame to put it in the bin when so much hard work has gone into it.On to the product. The picture seems to indicate that this item (Mine is the black colour) would be grey at the top and bottom, and black in the middle section. Not the case. Everything on this case is black. Black TPU, and hard black plastic. There's no grey about it.Fitting it onto the phone is easy. It's flexible enough to bend around the phone and snap back into place securely. It's a good fit - there's no chance of the phone falling out. The corner protrude slightly, as an impact protection, which is a clever idea.Protection level is good, but not great. While the bumpers don't come away from the sides, like they do with some cases (My person bugbear, having dropped my phone, and watched the sides of a case peel back and allow damage to occur - grr!) the lack of hard plastic to keep the bumper in place means that the bottom of the case, over the port for the charger and headphone ports, is not stable and can be squished quite easily, exposing the key ports to damage.Access to ports is good. I could easily get my phone charger and headphones into the relevant port, and the speakers were exposed for when you listen to music or take a speakerphone call. Buttons were accessible - the silence slider was, as with all cases I've seen, exposed. The power and volume buttons were covered with the TPU of the bumper, so you just pressed in on that where it was indicated. The bumper does not come up high enough to interfere if you have a screen protector on.The back panel is a hard plastic. It's slightly sparkly. What annoyed me was that it picked up fingerprints very easily and I had to polish them off quite a lot. The shiny plastic surface slipped around in my hand quite a lot, which worried me, as I am prone to attacks of butterfingers, and I was worried I'd drop it, or it would just slide out of my hands.Overall, I liked this case. They've spent a lot of money on premium packaging, and it looks great. Very smart, and does a good job of protecting the phone. Thanks to the manufacturer, who sent me this product in exchange for an honest review. Perhaps you could look into a non-slip backing for the next generation?
