Identical to Shimano
Replacing my Shimano St-ef51 right 7 gears and it works good. I even reused the Shimano cover on this one ant it fits.

easy install
perfect fit for replacement. sturdy construction and good quality. even though i needed only one side had to replace both sides for looks

Tight fit, good value.
Tight going on the handlebar. Adjusted ok. Pretty easy to install; not as good as a name-brand (Shimano), obviously. Excellent value for the price. It got me back on the road and I'm happy about it.

Great combo brake and shifter
I got this to repair/tune up an older bike. Works great with the old Shimano STX derailleur and the V-brakes. Easy to install and feels really solid. Been riding with it for almost 2 months now and still shifts and brakes smoothly. Brakes offer a nice easy light adjustment. The shifter paired up great. Nice low cost solution to fix some older bikes.

Pay attention to the picture, missing one cable adjustment knob
It's missing the adjustment knob on the 8 speed shifter. I thought it was just an oversite but if you look at the product pic you'll see its missing. Why? No clue, you'll have to buy one which bumps up the cost. I 3d printed a 7mm one. It works ok, wouldn't use it for trails or off road. Would have been nice to include a brake cable, I would have paid a few extra dollars for it

Great price for a replacement set.
I bought these to help a friend who's bike was in need of a serious update. Lots of parts added up to lots of money so I was grateful to find these combo's at such a decent price. They felt like decent quality and after install I was very happy with the outcome. They remind me of 90's Shimano combos and were a great functional upgrade for a bike in need.

Great shifters
Aluminum adjusters are very soft and threads are easily damaged. One came cross threaded so I used an old one. Shifting is accurate a crisp. Great value and easy to install.

don't have to worry about the cable lengths there is plenty. Be aware the brake cables are not included, in case you think they are. Made for a nice easy clean install. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Metal is flimsy and brittle. Loose on the bars. Can't be tightened properly otherwise it snaps in half.
