The wall mount part and the ring part are two different shades of brushed brass. I temporarily removed the ring (easily) to show the difference up close in the pictures. The ring part is more yellow-y while the mounting part is muted and more expensive-looking (in my opinion).Also the ring makes a squeaking noise when it moves.

This matches perfectly with my new vanity. The only thing negative is that it is very squeaky when you pull on the towel to dry your hands. I haven't tried any remedies for tge squeak yet but I'm sure something can fix it.

We've used this towel ring in our guest bathroom for about three months now, and really wish we had bought a better quality product. The ring squeaks every time you touch the towel, and it feels like the whole thing will fall apart.

Works well for guest bath and looks great with the other brushed brass in the bathroom. It does not require a lot of space but holds a large hand towel very well.

I used the in my newly remodeled bathroom. It’s not as big as some of the other holders which I like. It looks great. I did not give it five stars because the ring is a bit loose so when you don’t have a towel in the holder it will swing against the wall like a door knock, which may damage a fresh paint job.
