Nice snug fit, doesn't move around. Vests that move, cause pain and chaffing. This fits very well and is well balanced. Removable weights, so vest is washable. Very happy, plus you can order heavier weights to up the maximum load. Very comfortable, has phone holder and two straps to keep vest on firmly. Very happy with the quality, and was cheaper than the 20lb vest I bought at Walmart, which hurt my shoulders and back because it was too front heavy and the weight was not distributable. I am glad I went with the shoulder pads, it is heavy enough at full weight to merit the use of the shoulder pads, you can easily make your own too.

When you pick this thing up and feel the full weight you think, "there's no way Im going to be able to put this on". Then you carefully slide in to it and realize that the perfect weight distribution makes this pretty darn bearable. In fact, your legs are more likely to get tired than your back is!I needed this to train for a fitness test coming up. I love the ease of adjusting the weight to what I want, and the 5 pockets on both sides give you options for where you put the weights. Its comfortable and the lower chest band gives great support. I didnt get the ones with the shoulder pads, and while I do think they would make it more comfortable, you can easily add your own make shift padding that will do the same thing. This is a great exercise tool to really help you build muscle and strength. Its very good quality and seems like it will be durable over time.

This vest is amazing, although we haven’t had it for very long but it’s definitely well made. My husband bought it for himself but I keep stealing it and using it for my walks around the neighborhood the fit is adjustable so it’s perfect for both of us. It goes on very easy and you can choose the right weight that works best for you. Each bag weighs 4 lbs and there are 10 bags. I started with 4 (2 in the back and 2 in the front). I personally don’t think you need the extra shoulder pads. The color is black and that’s great. There is a little bit of a smell but that’s because it’s new. The only con I can think of is the “ phone holder “ isn’t very convenient, but that’s just my opinion.

Quality is good, fit and size is great. Weight distribution is awesome. It is durable and didn't notice any smell when received.

I got the 40 lb version with shoulder pads for about $63, and now I see it’s almost double that. Honestly, it’s still worth it.Each weight pouch (sand) is around 4 lbs, so you can easily adjust the load depending on the exercise. I use 16 lbs for my 4-mile weekend walks and it adds just the right challenge. I’ve also worn the full 40 lbs, and trust me, the shoulder pads make a huge difference. Good weight but it’s a little to big for me but does the job and not really heavy to e so I could’ve gotten more good design and is good for my workouts

Even though I returned this item, I will still highly recommend it. It just didn't work for my circumstances. The vest is very well made, and adjusting the weight is as easy as inserting and removing a weight pouch. As for size, I am a big guy with a 42" waist, and the belt was more than long enough to fit comfortably around me.

If you want to loose weight this is a pretty good vest to wear while working out. I used it for long runs for a month. Then I started running without the vest and felt so light it was like I was weightless. The only thing I’ll say is you should probably get pads for the shoulders because it does suck without at them other than that. This is a pretty good vest.
