Are there holes in the ends of the clamp handles? If so, what is the diameter of the holes?

I have small holes in the handles of the pack I purchased. They are approx. 2 cm diameter.

Do the clamps damage canvas if placed directly on it? Thanks

I have clamped them on the canvas directly several times without a problem. Just be careful to place and remove without scraping the fabric.

Would these hold up on doors?

The Maximum opening mouth is 2 inch, if your door is thiner then 2 inch ,it may works.

How difficult are these to squeeze open? Can it be done with one hand?

They are easily opened, I only use one hand with them. They are lightweight. I use them to hold leather together while I glue the edges together before I sew them. But they also have a good grip, so I am very happy with them.
