Loved that it covers a wider area than a normal PIR, now as soon as I walk out my garage the light comes on.

Very few false activations so far
I've fitted this Steinel sensor to an aluminium plate, with two 10w LED lights attached, and a further 50w LED light mounted to a wall. All three are simultaneously triggered by the Steinel sensor. The previous lights were being triggered every few minutes - but the Steinel seems very responsive - yet not to the extent of false triggers. I cut the small black shield to provide a 'shade' so that passing people on the road outside also didn't trigger the system. All in all - so far - very pleased with the purchase.
