Do you think this would spray curry powder/garlic powder for rat control?

Absolutely should work for that...this is an excellent product, even if it is "low tech"; it works great.

will this work with Sevin powder / granules?

I didn't find that it worked well with a powder. It's not designed for granules at all, the tube is too small for that.

Is the nozzle adjustable for light, medium, or big spray?

No. The amount of spray depends on how hard you squeeze the plastic bulb holding the powder.

How do i get a lighter powder dusting? When i use it, it clogs and then a huge amout spurts out....please help!

Make sure its fully assembled as in picture: fat straw in duster, reduction coupler, skinny straw, and orifice/nozzle with cap. If you don't use the orifice/nozzle it will not disperse the dust properly.
