Le Jardind'Amore Nnight & Day Gift Set

I bought the Le Jardin d'Amore 150ml Body Spray, never having smelled the scent of it before, and found I like it!Okay it's not the best scented body spray in the world, but it isn't the worst either. Yes it smells floral, but it isn't all flower smelling. It does have a bit of a spicy, oriental smell to it too.The official description of this scent is that it has a floral and woody fragrance. It contains notes of bergamot, aldehydes, palisander rosewood, fruity notes, rose, lily-of-the-valley, orris root, ylang-ylang, vanilla, musk, benzoin, amber, cedar, sandalwood and tonka bean.When I find a scent advertised that I haven't smelled before I always do an internet search to find out how the makers describe it. Being okay with the above description I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm not disappointed.I like scents with mixed floral, woody, vanilla, musk and amber notes to them, and this body spray has those. I like this body spray and will buy it again!

Nice perfume for every day use and reasonable price

I used to wear this many years ago and I loved the smell.I does NOT smell like it did 30 years ago, it's quite a horrible smell ........very disappointing

As an 80s kid, I often had a bottle of this in my Christmas stocking and so it made me feel really nostalgic when I seen it on amazon. My first thought was ' ahh I loved that! It smelled amazing!' So I ordered it, excited by the fact that I was going to recapture my long gone youth and get a grown up, night time version too. Woohoo!It arrived bang on time, beautifully packaged and presented and I was so ready to be transported back to an 80s Christmas when the tree lights were multicoloured and none of the ornaments matched and tinsel was on the tree and round the windows. I couldnt wait to pop that lid off and coat myself in sprayed on memories...except in my memory, Christmas didn't smell like a Tom cats litter tray. Maybe being in my 40s my recollection is failing me but I'm pretty sure this perfume didn't smell quite so pungent and artificial before? The one in the dark bottle didn't fair any better and the combination of them both was something akin to chemical warfare. If you want something vintage to sit on your dresser this will do the trick but for godsake, superglue the lid on.
