I have to admit, I opened this light and thought to myself, what a rip off. I even sat this light aside and stewed about what to do about it. Then I was working around my house Monday and took it outside and hung it up. I am wrong. This little light is a powerhouse. I love the motion detecting capabilities. It comes on every time I go past it and it isn't directly aimed at my walkway. I do have it facing toward the southeast and it appears to hold charge until the next morning. And the light is so much brighter than I anticipated. The product arrived packaged well with clear instructions. The installation was easy and I put it on the corner of my home into the vinyl siding with one screw. I really can't say enough good things about this product. I wish I had tried it sooner instead of judging it by its tiny appearance.This product is positioned to light an area near my car that doesn't have access to electricity. This was a great solution and the light performs well. I really didn't expect to like this product.I received a discount in exchange for this review. It does not affect my review. I didn't want to like this product. I was very wrong.

I love solar lights that are bright and smart - this one is both. The good news is that this has two lights in it - one that is more like a night light and the second that is in the lower portion that you see in the picture with the reflector is very bright and comes on when there is movement. I have tried this out on my deck at night -- the first thing and most important is that it gets sunshine - the more it gets the better obviously, the second point is that this light is a great walk way light that will light up bright when it senses motion.. In my book its smart conserves battery life when no one is around and when needed ( like on steps or a walkway ) - bingo it comes to life. I think if I try hard enough I can find a dozen uses for this light .. Right now its on my deck.. and it is terrific ! I received this light at a discount for giving an honest review.. This is a terrific light and I will be adding more to my backyard -- its that good.

So much smaller than I thought it would be...yes, it had the sizes in the description but I did not read that far down. It is intended for outdoor stair or garden usage but I am going to use it for outdoor camping type uses. It can provide light in the tent without using battery life of your flashlight and it being solar powered makes it great for that reason. I purchased this product at a discounted price.
