My doctor recommended Phazyme when I complained of having a bloated feeling all the time. I have been very pleased with the results. I take a pill when I feel bloated and generally find relief. I liked it well enough to re-order when the first box was completed.

So...last week I was having a horrible time with gas. I won't lie. When I had a blowout, *I* had to leave the room, it was so bad. Tums, Pepto, even MoM (blergh) couldn't help. So I decided to try Phazyme. I ordered the 250 because my condition wasn't just bad, but offensive. There seemed to be no reason for my plight and I didn't see any reason not to try it. Within 24 hours of taking the one dose, I knew I had a problem. I was bent over a tower installing a motherboard, and things started to rumble a little right before there was a breakthrough. Leakage, I guess you can call it. I clenched everything and ran, then spent the rest of the weekend camping close to the bathroom. I don't know if it simply worked on the gas to eliminate the bloat and make more room for nature to take its course...or if the devil was in that stuff. Yes, I feel better. No, I didn't go out for three days. No, I still don't trust even the smallest rumble and will chacha right off to the ladies room at the first sign of a storm brewing in the south. I still have gas, though it's diminished a little. My doctor said the cause is likely hormonal, since I'm grinding the gears rather hard on the menopause truck, She may be right. I'd rather change my diet 100% than have to rely on OTC meds for this kind of thing. Can't take Phazyme and go to work without an exit strategy. Buy the smaller dose to start with. I should have.

My doctor suggested taking an extra strength gas prevention medication once a day. I started taking these and my bloating is gone. I'm still chilling w the porcelain throne, but the bloating is gone. It works pretty quick, easy to swallow, it's a bit expensive for the amount, but that's to be expected. I will continue to but this from Amazon because it's cheaper than at the stores.
