I’ve purchased Citracal Maximum Plus multiple times, I keep in my daily routine. The main reason I stay with this brand is that it’s gentle on my stomach compared to some other calcium supplements I’ve tried in the past. The caplets are reasonably easy to swallow, and I like that this formula includes vitamin D and additional minerals instead of just plain calcium.The bottle is clearly labeled and easy to manage for daily use. What keeps me coming back is reliability and consistency. The quality has stayed the same from bottle to bottle, and I feel confident using a product from a brand that has been around for a long time. The pills arrived 1 day late, but they were well packaged. The price is reasonable and my doctor instructed me to only take two pills once a day, so I have a 90 day supply. I love the fact that they also contain Vitamin D3, as my doctor recommended I take calcium citrate (easier to absorb than calcium carbonate, per my doctor) with Vitamin D3. The pills are very large (larger than my potassium pills, which are quite large), but they are coated. I take one at at time with about 1/2 glass of water. I take a sip of water before putting the first pill in my mouth to ensure my mouth isn't dry. They don't upset my stomach and so far, none have gotten stuck in my mouth or throat. If you need or want to take calcium, I strongly recommend this brand.
