CX 80S In-ear Headphones with In-line One-Button Smart Remote – Black

Have wanted a set of these in ear headphones for a good few years,and I am not disappointed. Excellent frequency range. Nice bass response. Very comfortable. Everything you require from a wired in-ear set of headphones. Viva la 3.5mm jack.

First day using review The bass really is on the low side, but I compensated for the low bass using an equaliser on the Android phone. Had to turn up the bass to 25%+equaliser preset, then the headphones sounded somewhat acceptable. I have used Sennheiser before and will see how these headphones hold up. Maybe the headphones never were about having much bass. Sometimes too much bass gives headaches.

These sound fantastic! They make music sound more musical, they bring depth and clarity to songs, with great bass and treble response. Some people say these headphones sound thin or treble forward. I think this is for 2 reasons 1: They can sound thin/treble forward IF you don't have them seated properly in your ears. So make sure you use the right size plugs to get a snug fit. 2: If you're coming from those nasty headphones that say stuff like "Super Elite XL Deep Bass Ultra Ear Pounders MKIII" then these are not for you, because they actually make music sound as it should and not colour the sound with unnecessary extra bass. Yes, these have a great bass sound, but it's very natural and tight, not super aggressive and boomy. If that's what you're used to, then these will naturally sound brighter until your ears adjust. Overall these are great value for money, and seems well made. The sound they produce is fantastic for the price point

I used to love my old pair of Sennheiser’s, but after many years I had to replace due to a wire coming loose on one of the earbuds. So bought these ones which were the newer model at the similar price range, unfortunately they aren’t as good as I could immediately hear the difference in sound quality. Don’t know if they’re fake, or Sennheiser are just using cheaper materials… Maybe I need to spend more on the superior model, or just to a different manufacturer?

I purchased these in August and they are already broken. The remote no longer works and they are beginning to lose sound. I cannot see a way to return them to Amazon (they are apparently out of the return window, meaning that the returns button has been removed). I am going to buy a replacement from Argos.

Fitted to an extension so my wife can watch TV and let me sleep.

But not for drama with music background.

仕事用にオンライン会議用に購入しました。会議ではまだ使ってないです。 Macに繋いで音楽聞いてますが、良い音だなと思いました。 程よくタイトに、高音もきつすぎず、低音も落ち着いた迫力は感じられます。 つくりは、プラスチックな感じで、軽くて頼りない感じですが、値段相応な感じでしょう。 むしろこの価格でこの音なら全然ありかなと思います。マイクは録音してみましたが特に 初期不良ではありませんでした。普通にクリアでした。 Bluetoothのイヤホンもいくつか使ってますが、バッテリーの問題として、劣化すると長く 使えないことや、充電できなくなると買い直しになることを考えるとあまり高いものを 買っても数年で買い替え。みたいなことになり、結局いまだに使っているヘッドホンイヤホン は、だいぶ前に買った、有線接続のものだったりします。 ということで、このイヤホンがいつまで持つかの耐久性はまだわかりませんが、 しばらく使えるといいなと思います。

They do there job considering the price the sound amazing

They are actually way better than I expected! I am a Sony fan but these seem pretty good sound for the price, impressive!

I used Sennheiser cx 180, 275s, Creative ep530, Apple earphones, JBL CS200SI and Sony MDR XB55AP, EX155 in the past. I didn't like CX 180 at first when I moved from creative ep530, as the bass was not good. But later realized that I was using incorrect size earbuds, after thar it was awesome earphones. Only drawback was lack of mic. When CX180 stopped working after 3 years, chose 275s, but disappointed with the bass , and there was no workaround. But it was good to listen music. Once I lost it , I tried many other earphones such as sony XB55, EX155, JBL CS200. Sony XB55 having too much bass overpowering vocals and treble, have bigger size. EX155 overpowered in treble. JBL CS200 has good bass and treble, but cause pain to ears after 1 hour of usage. So, chose Apple earphones. When It got damaged , tried CX 180S after checking so many reviews. Sennheiser CX180S sounds better than other earphones in the market. There are too many reviews complaining about the low bass and volume. But I found no issues in these aspects, only trick is to use the right size earbuds. Otherwise, these earphones don't sound good. Aslo don't use any equalizer settings, keep it in normal mode. Sennheiser CX180S bass is very good, it gives the thump ,not distorted nor treble oriented bass. All the instruments and vocals very crisp and clear along with thump bass. It is very good in watching movies. These earphones provides good noise isolation if right sized earbuds are used. We can barely hear the sound of nearby vehicles or people. It also don't hurt the ears even after hours of usage, thanks to soft earbuds. Drawback : Price should have been in 1500 range, no volume adjustment button. Missing pouch.
