Vida Designs Arlington Shoe Cabinet 2 Door 1 Drawer Storage Cupboard Stand Rack MDF White

I did have to send my first unit back as one part was damaged, however a replacement was shipped immediately and this was all in good condition, so just bad luck I guess. Many reviews say that this unit is difficult to put together and is flimsy, but I am glad that I didn't listen as this wasn't my experience and I am so pleased with how it looks and how it functions. Generally this was simple to put together and took about 40 minutes, after an initial ten mins of using brut force. There are some round plastic parts that need a firm hand to get into the holes on the sides, as the holes were slightly too small. Using a mallet and a flat piece of wood (to avoid damage) not to mention some patience and these parts did go in after about ten mins. These do need to be a tight fit as they have to support the weight of your shoes and the door. The unit itself is wobbly once built, so you do need to fix it to a wall, but this is to be expected when you think how small the depth is and how far it needs to open for you to get your shoes out. Once secured to the wall, it is great. All parts line up nicely and the doors and draw open and close smoothly. I couldn't be more pleased with this item and feel it is great value for money.

I have to say the customer service team was excellent – quick to respond and very helpful throughout. Unfortunately, the product itself just isn’t worth it. We were really drawn to the look and design of this cabinet, but unfortunately the quality just doesn’t match the aesthetics. After spending a considerable amount, we expected a functional and reliable piece — but we’ve now received two units, both with major structural faults. The first cabinet couldn’t be assembled properly due to misaligned panels. One door sat noticeably higher than the other, and no matter how carefully we followed instructions, we couldn’t get both doors to fit correctly. We flagged this and were sent a replacement — which turned out to be just as problematic. This time, the alignment is still off, and more frustratingly, one of the doors won’t stay closed at all. It keeps popping open on its own despite being screwed on evenly and securely. We've tried everything — it's clearly a design or manufacturing fault, possibly related to the batch (SKPI-24538CK). It’s extremely disappointing to receive two defective items, especially after putting time into assembly twice. We’ve now requested a full refund as another replacement just isn’t worth the hassle. Would not recommend unless quality control improves significantly. Looks lovely in pictures, but sadly it’s not fit for purpose.

Really like the look of the cabinet overall, it was a bit tricky to put together and it did arrive with a few marks and some damage luckily we have been able to cover this up and the seller has been really helpful throughout.

Very pleased with my purchase. Took two of us 2 hour's to assemble, but relatively easy. I agree with some of the reviews, get my shoes in easily, but my husband's size 11 fit in sideways. Therefore can't get as many shoes in. Having said that, wanted this cupboard to store outdoor shoes at the back door, so it works for us!

Ok- easy to put together, not the strongest quality ever but will last me a few years. Drawer and overall feel a bit woobly if not anchored to the wall.

Very disappointed with this product. The middle draw has broken out of the joint several times and we have tried to fix it several times even using longer screws. As you can see in the photo the draw is broken again. It has only been usable for 1 week over a time frame of 4 months. The top draw has also now become loose and out of the joint. Definitely not worth the £70 we paid for it as it cannot be used. Only plus side is it looks nice. Do not buy if you want a shoe cabinet that works

perfect for small/ narrow hall ways it’s great quality it takes a while to build but worth it looks great as well.

Low quality product. Firstly it was sent with the wrong screws hence the makes on the middle drawer. I ignored this! I have cleaned this today & the wood effect on the top has PEELED off ! I have had these drawers for just over a month I am absolutely devastated and I paid over £50 for them! How am I supposed to return for a refund when they’re already built??

Schön

Szafka wykonana z bardzo cienkiej płyty - montaż na super cienkie śruby. Po dwóch miesiąca użytkowania dolne drzwiczki urwały się.

We followed the assembly instructions, and the furniture was assembled exactly as it should be. However, when we placed the shoes inside for the first time and opened the drawers, both of them fell to the floor. It seems that the wood combined with the weight of the shoes is too heavy for such small screws. The structure simply cannot support any weight. The drawers came off while the screws remained in place. We tried to reassemble and fix them again, but the screw holes became too large and no longer hold the screws securely. Bad quality, too fragile, not recommended at all. We are trying to return.

Bon rapport qualité prix Le meuble est joli
