It's a good printer, but you gotta put a little effort into it. I'll show you how though.
Alright so here's the thing, at work we have a 1200$ zebra printer. It's absolutely fantastic, it always prints perfectly, but the cost is not achievable for a home/small business thermal label printer. This printer is a really solid option for around a hundred bucks (at the time of writing) but it's got an initial setup fault that could easily be resolved. You'll see a lot of people here complaining about print quality of this printer, especially on the Mac side of things, which is what im using it on. And they're right. Default settings are trash. but nobody seems to talk about tuning this printer in Mac printer settings, and this isn't even something that's mentioned in the installation guide from the manufacturer. I got curious if this printer could print well as the included test sheet looks pretty great actually, but all the labels I first printed off looked like garbage. so clearly this printer has the potential for success. So after about an hour of playing with settings, I got the really good results you can see in the other pictures. I suggest playing with these printer settings yourself, as your printer could differ, but ill post what worked below for me.In your macOS print window, set your paper size to"4.00"x6.00" (101mm x 152mm) 3.99 by 6.00 inches"This is going to prevent your thermal printer from printing a label on multiple pages. Then select your preview dropdown in the middle of the print window, and go down to printer features. you'll see a new dropdown starting with quality, and below that, the setting "color option"Set color option to "none"Setting it as greyscale is going to force macOS to convert any print, including black and white prints, to a dithered grayscale. Its this setting that is causing the blurriness so many people mention.Next, in your quality dropdown, select the printer options section.in that settings menu, setorientation: 0 degreesmethod: use currently printer settingtype: use currently printer settingprint speed 2.00 in/settingprint darkness: 10start position: use currently printer settingpostprint action: tear offstop offset: use currently printer setting.all these settings are closing an optimal darkness for the thermal print, and a slower print speed that will drastically improve the quality of your labels.now that you've done all that, go to the top of the print window, and chose presets, and save current settings as preset. give it a name, and save it. use that preset whenever you're printing with this printer and you'll get the results or close to the results I've shown in the pictures. No idea what you have to do to get all this working on windows, maybe the manufacturer can update their installation guide to include all these tuning steps. they'll probably end up with less returns and support emails.

They do not tell you the truth! You are restricted on what it can do but you waste alot of time.
I bought this printer to print priority mail labels that were already made up so all i had to do was use the printer and put them on packages. This is a joke! My son anddaughter in law tried every which way but itdoes not work. It never said it would not work with labels made up and all the printer did was print them. I now have a $100 piece of junk and the printing is not that good either. Tried to call them but cannot get hold of them no matter what time of day. If anyone wants this printer, they can have it for $50! Its not worth $100.

Reliable printer
This thing, while it looks like it was designed decades ago, proves to be a reliable label printer for my business shipping activities. I previously purchased another label printer which looked fancy, but broke within 1000 labels. This one has surpassed 2500 labels and goes strong. My one complaint would be that the labels tend to print off-center, and I haven't yet figured out how to correct for that issue. It may have to do with the fact that I'm using label stacks instead of rolls, since they are cheaper, and still fit inside the printer no problem. I usually fit about 200 labels in there at a time. Would recommend.EDIT: I was able to find vertical and horizontal offset settings in the Printer Preferences, perfectly aligned now!

Works well and is easy to set up
I stumbled upon a thermal printer and was fascinated at the idea of never having to purchase ink! I was a bit hesitant to buy this item because its not cheap and I rarely print. However, I went to UPS the other day and they charged me $2.30 just to PRINT the shipping label. I realized that I can’t put this off for the rest of my life and just went for it.Pros:- Super easy to set up (5 minutes) and came with super clear video instructions on how to set up the printer- Includes a USB stick with instructions and the driver software you need to download- Works for Mac OS! I saw a few thermal printers are only compatible with PCs.- Comes with a USB -> USB C adapter so you can use the printer with your Mac.- Prints fastDeltas:- Couldn’t figure out how to feed the paper into the printer without it spitting out multiple sheets- Wish the paper was a roll that I could store inside the printer rather than it being a stack that’s stored externally. I’ll end up buying the roll version when I run out.- It is a little bulky- Not wirelessSo why 5 stars even if it needs improvements? Because I’m so happy with how easy it was to set up. And, the improvements have nothing to do with the functionality of the printer itself.

Solid printer - setup a challenge
Once set up, the printer produces a crisp clear image. However, if you are not computer savvy, you may struggle to use the USB drive included, nor realize the printer driver is downloadable. They don't put any of that information in with the printer. I had to read the question section here in Amazon. My brand new HP computer did not recognize the device in the drive. Nor do I have a drive to insert the disc included. Once I located and downloaded the driver, the printer was recognized and I successfully printed a label. You do lose two labels in the initial feed - I am not sure this is unusual with thermal printers.Hopefully, it will continue to print solid - and I have just made my shipping life so much easier!! Less loss of label paper as well.

Great label printer.
I truly enjoy this label printer. It makes send out products so much easier than using full sheet labels or a full sheet of paper and a lot of tape to protect the ink from the printer. This label printer uses thermal printing on standard 4x6 labels. Perfect for shipping items to their new owners. Despite reading of a couple people having problems with their printer, I can honestly say I haven’t had any issues at all for the last 1000+ labels. I definitely recommend this printer and look forward to many years of use from it.
