Definitely worth the extra money
First went with the cheaper online version. Was defective so returned and decided to go with the more expensive Schlage. Definitely worth it! Sturdier and better design. Easy to install, works well and looks good.

Great design.
UPDATE 2/25: Liked so much, I bought a second one. > Like the thumb release mechanism on the handle. This replaced a cheap Chinese one that lasted only 4 days and feels 100x more solid. >The bottom bracket has a sliding pin/bolt so an existing hole should line up without more drilling >Made in Mexico... At least thats still North America👍
