Easy to put on and take off, as well as keep clean. Nice to have 3 size options.
Ordered this for my 16 lb. Schichon dog. The largest of the 3 sizes is comparable to the size of the cone you get from the vet, but much easier to put on and take off. The 2 smaller sizes aren't as deep. The velcro is wide and strong enough to keep it closed. I had to use the largest of the 3 as the vet says the proper size should be 1" past the dog's nose in order to properly cover their face. It is a little bit bigger around the neck than I hoped, but since he needed a haircut, and it is adjustable (depending how much of the wide velcro area you use), it worked fine. Also looks a lot nicer than the vet's version because of the black cloth trim around the edges, and the polka dot pattern. Easy to clean, just wipe it down with a damp paper towel.

Best E-collar I’ve ever seen
I just bought these cones for my dog because the price was less for three cones than I had paid for one from my vet. They are very well made and fit my American Bully perfectly. They are a higher quality by far than the ones in have bought before, very neatly trimmed with a black binding on the end and around the neck. They’re more flexible and not as long, ending just above my dog’s snout. A thick band of strong Velcro secures them. I feel these won’t tear up and can even see re-using them as they are so well-made.

Good short-term option
We ordered this for my mother’s dog while he was recovering from an ear injury, and it fit him perfectly and comfortably for those 2 weeks. The 3 different sizes were great because we were unsure of his exact measurements. The cones are lightweight and more flexible than the typical hard plastic cones. The velcro made it easy for my mom to put it on and take it off. Easy to clean, but the velcro seems like it could lose its hold if used long-term. It’s a reliable short-term option for dogs who don't try to chew or get out of the cone.

Poor Quality, Inaccurate Sizing, Served Its Purpose
I don’t like this cone, but it wasn’t my first pick either and I needed one ASAP for my pup. It had the soonest arrival time, but the sizing is off. I got the XL because, first of all, I didn’t need three cones for one dog but I also read people complaining that the cones were too short and the XL was deeper. I get the benefit of getting three and being able to size up or down, but you’re also paying more to get those three instead of one. I measured my dog and he was in the lower range for the XL, but still well within it. Luckily he has a big head because this would have fallen off a million times if he didn’t and it ended up sitting down closer to his chest (a couple inches below his collar) because his neck (the part I measured and confirmed this should fit before ordering) was way too small for it. Aside from that, it’s also WAY too deep. I measured from his collar to the edge of his chin before ordering (I needed one that would cover his full head because his injury was on his chin) and confirmed this size should be the perfect depth. Surprise, it wasn’t. The poor boy was swamped in this thing and ran into every door frame and table leg. I was worried he wouldn’t be able to eat or drink with it on, but he figured it out. Additionally, this cone is made of generic, foggy plastic so they can’t see through it at all and have no peripheral vision (part of why he ran into anything and everything with it on). Every time he hit something there was a new blemish on the plastic so it was clearly not going to last much longer than the two weeks we needed it for (ideally I’d like to keep a cone on hand for the future, but I won’t be keeping this one). ALSO (and this is a BIG issue for me because it could be potentially dangerous), the design is awful because the cone overlaps itself if you need to have it on a tighter setting and leaves a flap of plastic that is not secured down inside the cone. When my dog was crated with this on (near the end of his two weeks) he was able to chew that flap and the plastic broke down into pieces super easily. Luckily he didn’t swallow any, but some of those pieces were pretty sharp so if he had we could have been making an emergency vet visit. We ended up cutting the two week period short by a couple days because of this. So overall, ya it did its job. He could wear it all day, it covered his chin so he couldn’t get to it, he healed up nicely, but I was itching to take it off of him as soon as possible because it was obnoxiously oversized, potentially dangerous, and falling apart. Their measurements are WAY off and their quality is subpar.

Worked Great on Our Malamute
We ended up getting this Soft Dog Cone Collar for our senior girl, who has been dealing with a ringworm infection on her nose. The cone was very easy to use and get on my Alaskan Malamute. It is foldable but rigid, so our dog can't bend it on its own. It made it very hard for her to reach her paws and move about, which was exactly what we were hoping for, since she was trying to slap off the cream as it dried. It gave the proper amount of protection and seemed fairly comfortable for her to wear (even if she hated it). With a bit of help, she was able to eat an apple and some of her kibble, but it was very challenging since it is very rigid.

Great quality
Great quality. The smallest one is too small for a Shih Tzu.

Soft and Comfy, But Way Too Flimsy for Determined Dogs
As a longtime dog owner, I really wanted to love this GLADOG Soft Dog Cone Collar — especially since it looked more comfortable than the hard plastic ones from the vet. The material is soft and lightweight, which is great in theory, but unfortunately it’s way too flimsy for any dog with energy (or attitude). My pup bent it every which way within minutes and basically turned it into a floppy neck accessory instead of a recovery cone. The Velcro closure is pretty weak, which doesn’t help matters — it loosens easily if your dog moves around too much. On the plus side, the surface holds up well against scratching, and it doesn’t show marks or tears easily, so I’ll give it credit for that. It also has decent functionality overall for short-term use or calm pets who won’t test its limits. I do appreciate that it’s adjustable and easy to put on, and the comfort factor is there — it doesn’t rub or irritate the neck like some others do. But if your dog is even mildly persistent, it won’t last long. Overall, it’s fine for very gentle or smaller pets, but for sturdier dogs who know how to test boundaries, this one’s more of a polite suggestion than real protection.

Good sizing, dog obviously hates it but it does its job well. If your intent is to use it right away, it ships wrapped up really tight and definitely needs a night to be cone-shaped. Good quality, measurements were spot on and it'll keep my wily GSD out of his ears while they heal. Can't ask for better than that, especially at that price point!

After going through a variety of cone products, this one finally was right for our dog. The fit out of the box is a bit oblong and takes a while for it to relax into the cone shape. I found skewing the velcro so it affixed on an angle would help it stay circular. Our dog doesn't try to rip it off, he is comfortable in it.

Love the material it’s made out of. It’s a soft, bendable plastic, and the edges are outlined with a soft fabric. Also love the Velcro fastener which seems so much gentler on the dogs neck. My only issue is that the length/depth is still almost too short for dogs with very long snouts, and I did buy the biggest size and depth. I wish these were made with a slightly smaller circumference but a deeper cone for breeds like rough collies and shepherd breeds that are just naturally gifted with their beautiful, long noses. Overall, very happy with this purchase, as the quality is much better than the cone our dog was initially sent home with from the vets office. It’s not digging into his neck or causing unnecessary itching, rubbing or discomfort. Would recommend.

This has wasted days of recovery it’s not long enough and to flimsy / weak. The dog can easily take it off by walking forward into a wall the cone makes contact with the wall and the dog just needs to push and the Velcro pops off. My dog has taken it off by just running and accidentally hitting the side of a wall with the cone. Also my dog can lick her front, back paws / back end because the front of the cone is not long enough just in a bad shape in general so this was a complete waste of money and time and I wish I did not buy it to save my dog recovery time. I tried to use it for 3 days and all of those marks are on the cone from the dog bending it and popping it off.
