Definitely different from the original, but does it's job. A little difference in color gamut, the Webcam seems noisier, but easy to replace and works out of the box. UPDATE 09-02-24 Not 3 months went by and the macbook woke to a vertical line of dead pixels. Still trying to work out a warranty replacement with the seller. UPDATE 09-15-24 It wasn't the smoothest process, but the selle honored the warranty and I did get a new screen for free, so I'll bump the rating up to 5 stars.

It worked fine for a couple of months and then all of a sudden died. Very disappointing!

Awesome replacement screen for my M1 mac.

Beautiful replacement screen works as good as original however, built in camera doesn't work. GBOLE refunded me $100 of the purchase price to compensate for the lack of camera functionality. This means no zoom calls, no facetime for my computer. Originally they wanted to refund $50, but I felt the value lost was $100, so they did that. Probably just as well, I don't need to show my mug to anybody. But I now think I want to sell this macbook air 16g ram, 500gb ssd, M1 apple chip (2020 AS3337). Not sure if people would want a macbook air without a camera built in.

Terrible screen. Stopped working and I am getting no support from the manufacturer for reimbursement. Had to purchase another new screen and pay a tech $150 to take off old and put on new. This in 6 months time.

The screen comes very well packaged. Installation is easy (although I didn't use the tools that came with it but bought a separate set). My Mac is a space gray and the color of the lid is almost identical. The camera is of similar quality and the screen color is a bit cooler. The rating is given because I was working without moving or hitting the screen and suddenly 3 red lines appeared right in the middle of the screen. It only worked correctly for less than a month. If it weren't for this problem the rating would be 5 stars.

Very good quality the finish on top face is very premium. There’s a slight alignment thing to look out for, not sure if the hinge holes are slightly over sized or if it’s apple spec but I’d recommend before tightening the hinge screws fully check the alignment with the rest of the mac body, luckily if you notice it late you can just pop the bottom lid off and fix it by slightly loosening the hinge screws, aligning, and closing back up. Camera is the slightest fuzzy but It’s good enough for me

I was able to comeplete the replacement in about 30 minutes. I watched a youtube video and it was easy to figure out. Screen works perfectly fine so far, all the screw bits i needed were there, they were just mislabled - so just trial and error the bits to find ones that fit. To remove the main screws holding the screen assembly, i couldnt undo them by hand, so i held the screwdriver with channel locks to help take them out. HIGHLY reccomend. From Canada.

Si bien no trae instrucciones, con un video de YouTube lo realizas sin problema, no he detectado diferencias visibles en la pantalla, como tal, pero sí en el acabado, no se ve como el original, pero con una funda a color, ni quién lo note. La cámara tampoco es como la original, pero funciona y con la opción de usar el iPhone como webcam, pues no lo extrañas. Muy buen producto, por su precio, por la pantalla original me querían cobrar 10,000 pesos mexicanos siendo que ahora cuesta 13,000 la MacBook Air M1.

I really don't often write reviews but I feel obligated to for this one because I feel like this was perfect and I don't know why other people have criticised it for various things. 1. The cost of is under 300 bucks VS apple genius bar repair at 850 (I went in and asked, out of warranty / applecare, it would have been ~780 for the screen and then 100 for the repair time). 2. It took me about 90 minutes from start to finish to do this myself. - I watched an amazing youtube video as I followed along and just kept pausing and rewinding as needed for the step by step - they aren't kidding when they say keep track of the screws. There are so many super small screws and some that should be the same are actually different lengths. I used the lovely form pad and cardboard pieces that came with the new monitor as placeholders to put down all the different screws as I went along - a couple of the steps, like trying to remove the metal wifi bar, feel like you are going to break your computer pulling out. trust the process. it will work. - i found that the final step of trying to slide in the new screen/top on to the hinges of the mainboard was actually quite difficult to align. It seemed simple enough but you have to pull the hinges open (and when they aren't attached to the computer, its like trying to pull a lever right next to the pivot) and then getting the two hinges into the slots on the main computer board at the same time and keeping BOTH aligned so that you can screw it together was frustrating. 3. screen brightness honestly seems exactly the same. 4. it is IDENTICAL to my existing screen in every way. space grey color, the writing on the front, the logo on the back... you would be lying if you said you could tell the difference between this screen/top and the one from your original macbook air. 5. it came with a set of the fancy mini screw driver heads that you need (my picutre includes a bigger set for when I replaced a mac harddrive, not the set with this product, but its what you need). 10/10. Save yourself 600+ bucks and follow along some basic computer assembly skills from youtube!

Funcionó perfectamente. Llegó muy rápidamente y con un empaque muy bien diseñado. Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto y su calidad.
