Does anyone know if zona 36-678 15 tpi blades will work with this coping saw? they are 6 1/2" between pins. help please?

The dimensions given don't seem to match the picture. i want the one with the deep frame and clamped -not pinned- blades. 70-cp1r or 70-fs1r??

It takes a standard 6 1/2" blade and the throat depth is 4 3/4". Great saw for basic casing and base.

What blade and how to install it? I bought the pin blades, but they have small bumps sticking out on both ends, which do not allow me to install the b

Actually the bumps (pins) keep the blade from sliding forward etc... You have to loosen the handle a lot to install the blade and may have to flex the frame to get them to hold. Remember they cut on the pull stroke. A good blade is the Sears Craftsman 36064 Fine Woodworking mag fave. They are really cheap and good, They might be the same model # now under the Stanley umbrella since the craftsman name was sold to them, I hope this helps.

Should work well for you. I use Zona blades, they're available on Amazon and are available in different tooth counts. You should be able to pick out something that will work for the material that you'll be working with.

Extremely fine tooth blades

These blades work great for marquetry wood working. I was struggling to find a fine tooth blade that would work for me. These are great and do not tear the wood up when cutting using a fret saw.
