Great Mower for Smaller Yards
I've been using this mower for around a month now and have mowed multiple times, and am fairly happy with the results. Here's are a few observations to help people who may be on the fence-I'm 6'4, and the handle is at the highest setting. It is comfortable to mow with and I don't have any back pain from slouching when mowing. It's easier to mow with than my gas self propelled, and is super lightweight. I was worried about it not being self propelled, but I would compare it to pushing a stroller (for you moms and dads out there) in terms of ease.-Do not get this mower if you want to mow anything more than a quarter acre on one charge. My entire property is roughly 2/3rds Acre and I usually have to break up front and back yard between charges. That being said, my back yard is easily 1/2 acre, and have only managed to mow it on one charge ONCE. Every other time, it's taken me anywhere from 2-4 charges to just mow my Back Yard-To maximize your battery life, you'll have to:A) Use the bagger attachmentB) Cut high to not overwork the mowerC) Do not mow in 95+ Degree WeatherThe battery will not last if you try to just mulch or cut too low. I have fairly thick grass in my back yard, and the lowest I can mow without bogging down is on the 3 height setting. The batteries s prone to overheating, so you'll need to try to mow in the evening, OR, take regular breaks to empty the bag to give it a chance to cool down. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. It was a good Segway for me to buy an Ego Mower next tax season that can handle the size of my yard on one charge. However, if you are wanting good performance for a smaller yard that won't break the bank, I highly recommend this mower.

So easy to use.
This is my first battery lawn mower. Wasn't sure what to expect. I have a small grass back yard and smaller grass area in the front. The mower doesn't should to strong at start up, but a second or two later it is ready to go. It cuts my yard very easily. The only thing I seem to worry about, is the wheels. They just seem like a cheap plastic. But then again, this is not a high end mower. But it works well for my application, and the price was right.

Light weight but powerful
I bought this because the push mower I had before this was heaving and hard to move around trees etc.. my wife used it first and loves it, very light and easy to move around. She made the comment that the bag fills up completely. She also said it was very powerful and did not bog down in high grass conditions. I’m glad I bought but do wish I would have gotten a 21 inch .

Zero Battery Life / HORRIBLE Customer Service
If I could 0 star this I would. I ordered thru Amazon but was encouraged to see customer support options thru both Amazon and Greenworks. I also read good reviews on Greenworks so I hate writing this review but feel compelled because of the absolute lack of customer service on an expensive piece of equipment.Upon package arrival I was super excited by the ease of start and the light-weight maneuverability of the mower. -- both a plus for this piece. I followed directions re: charging the batteries. Upon first use the batteries only lasted 30 minutes max.The grass was damp (not wet) and a bit tall so I chalked it up to extra work. Second use- batteries lasted 24 minutes. Third use- 22 minutes. I understand sometimes dud batteries happen and was open to replacing them to see if that was the problem. I reached out after the second mow to Greenworks-- their website is useless and really only a gateway to get the phone number. Customer service hours are limited. I waited on hold about 20 minutes before I had to hang up. I figured it was close to end of day so I would try again. After 3rd mow- I tried again. This time I couldn't even get past the main menu. The auto customer service system kept resetting and taking me back to the beginning. Now I am stuck cleaning up and breaking down a large piece of equipment, packaging and going thru the hassle of Amazon return. (The Amazon customer service was kind but could not just replace the batteries.)Of note-- I also ordered the string trimmer/ blower combo. Greenworks promotes the idea of one battery for several products HOWEVER the mower and trimmer/blower use 2 different kinds of batteries...so no- I can't use multiple pieces with one battery. If you are looking at multiple pieces be sure to look at the details of the battery for each piece. Of course this is on me but I got pulled in by marking. Good luck.

Bought this for my mom’s house, it’s so easy to use anyone can use it and it does a nice job
My mom had a old Honda lawnmower, which had to be serviced every year. I thought since her lawn was real small it would save a lot of life on the gas mower, which was mainly used to mow the hill (wild grasses). This was a great buy to do that. Easy to set up and start up, and easy to push around. It’s smaller than a normal sized mower so you might have to take make an extra pass.Love also how easy it is to adjust the height with the button/lift.I have a larger model, with a turbo option, for my house and much larger lawn than my mom. My only suggestion on the model being reviewed is add the Turbo button to this to help suck up needles/ small debris a little better.

Great cut
Purchased this as a Prime Deal with the 24v drill and mower 2x24v 17 inch cut mulching or bag combo. Have about 6 uses in with the mower and still cuts the same as the first use. Batteries are holding up without any noticeable loss of life which was my main concern going from gas to battery powered. I push mow around 1.25 acres so I bought two additional 24v batteries and with the two that came with the mower I can cut the whole 1.25 acres with only one swap of batteries. Drill works great and has a lot of power. With the 24v drill I have been able to complete projects on one battery that usually take two batteries in old drills that I have. Overall good products. In addition about a year ago I bought the Greenworks 40v string trimmer that still works great, which is what lead me to stay with the Greenworks product line. Hope this review helps anyone looking for these types of products.
